After using this camera, had to up my rating.
This camera and monitor appear to be good for the price but I will never know for sure. It works ok on the bench but I cannot install it due to the design of its mounting bracket. I am using a preinstalled Furrion mount as comes on so many new RVs today. With the Furrion bracket the camera mounts on a vertical surface. The bracket provided with the camera will not accommodate mounting on a vertical surface. With bracket extended to rear of camera, the antenna cannot be attached unless the camera is pointed almost straight down. Might be acceptable to use as backup camera only but not as an observation camera. As far as the video provided with this backup camera, it appears to be adequate. Color and clarity are not great but good enough to see what is behind me. If the mounting bracket was of better design, considering the price paid I'd be happy with this purchase (assuming that it would work after being installed on the RV)7/5/2018: I used a 90 degree RF connector elbow and managed to mount the camera in the Furrion bracket that came factory installed on my trailer. I also found and adapter that I connected to the camera to allow me to connect to the existing wiring. I hit the road with this setup last week and returned home yesterday. I must say that I was very well pleased with the performance. At speeds to 65mph the camera/monitor worked just fine without any loss of signal. The provided video allowed me to see traffic behind the trailer and helped in backing the trailer when necessary. The only interference I experiences was when passing high tension power lines. The monitor could benefit from a shade. The video was bright enough except when wearing polarized sun glasses. I replaced a $325 Furrion camera and monitor with this rig and must say that this performed much better. The size and video on the Furrion rendered it totally useless and the mount provided with the Furrion would not hold to the windshield. If you are considering the Furrion, save yourself about $250 and make modifications necessary to adapt this camera. If you are not adapting to the Furrion mount that comes on many campers, this will be a snap to install. I am upping my rating to four stars. If I could give 4 1/2 stars I would. Cannot go 5 stars due to the absence of a shade on the monitor.I used the following (ordered here on Amazon) to power this camera using the Furrion power plug that came on my trailer: CESS-209 2.5mm Stereo Balanced Male Plug to AV Screw Video Balun Terminal Cables ConnectorsI used the following to change the direction of the antenna so things would fit under the Furrion mount. Upon completion, the antenna points down rather than up. SMA Male to Female Right Angle 90-Degree Adapter Gold Plated Contact

The 25.99 camera is not wireless
I looked at all the pictures on the left of the ad for this camera set. I needed a V2 for a low ground view of the side of trailer fors blind side backing of my 5th wheel. The picture (6th down) shows 2 cameras, the one on the left shows a antenna lug and the right side shows one with the antenna attached. If you need a camera for v1 and v2 do not buy the 29.99 because in is not compatible with this system but the quality is very good if you don't need wireless

Works well, but mind your distance.
I like the camera and, for the amount of money spent, it isnt bad. But it mostly depends on your application. I bought it so that I could see behind a 30 foot trailer that I tow behind my truck. The 50 meter range seemed inflated but it was what sold me. It works, but at that distance, the clarity is fuzzy and it sometimes cuts out. It was very easy to install: I hooked the monitor and camera to two 12 volt batteries I had lying around. I then kept moving the camera further and further away .. and when it got to about 34 feet distance, it started to get a little hazy. At 10 more feet, it got a little more hazy, and started intermittent cutting out. But it still works well enough that I am keeping it. I hooked up the camera to the brake light (of the trailer, black and white), and the monitor I hard wired to the battery of the truck. It worked immediately without issue but, like I said, its a little hazy with not recievng a good signal. If your distance is less, than this camera is definitely well worth the money spent. Super easy to install, and the picture is good.

Nice camera but no parking lines
I gave this 4 out of 5 stars because it does not give the option of having parking lines. Most cameras come with a wire that you cut if you don't want the lines. The picture quality is good though.

I installed it on my 21’ Toyota Itasca Spirit RV and It works good. I think it should come with a cigarette lighter adapter to get power for the screen as an option.I am happy with my purchase

Picture quality is poor in low light
The product is OK. Picture quality is poor in low light, the picture has static static lines like it is on the edge of the signal. Mounted in a 40ft RV as a rear view camera at about 35' from the cab area. The bracket does not allow me to tilt the camera straight. There is not enough room between the camera antenna and the RV to tilt it. It's good for what we paid, but next time I will get one designed specifically for RV's.

Great camera for the price.
Great backup camera for RV. You will need addition electronics for power supply.
