Great for training, not for competition

I asked my son what he wanted for Christmas and got no reply so I looked for something completely useless but difficult to just throw away. It dawned on me that an old fashioned cannonball met those requirements. This is just a cannonball that’s been repurposed into a so called shot-put.It’s ideal for my purposes to remind my children that if they don’t give me some ideas of what they want for Christmas and birthdays, they’re going to get a cannonball. And in my opinion, they can never have too many of them!

Just as described by the seller and customer reviews. What can I say, it's a silver led ball; looks great out of the box and my daughter has really enjoyed using it for track & field practice. In the two months we've had this shot put, she has improved her throwing distance 5 feet(this is in no way a reflection of this product) but using it at home has really helped my daughter get better at throwing in competitions. It is a steel ball for heavens sake. How can you go wrong.It worked well for my kid.

Good product but almost didn’t make it to the house . Packing was terrible and shot had almost punched through both boxes.
