I find this to be quite accurate. I compared with my digital weight scale and it read the same when weighing an item. It seems to be of good construction. It does not feel cheaply made. When the weight is stabilized while weighing an object the scale locks the weight so you can read it after. It does seem to get picky about locking in the weight reading at times. I believe it is because the object is not steady on the hook. I would buy this again. I bought it to weigh my bicycles and luggage.

My wife bought this to make sure our overfilled luggage did not exceed the weight limit for the airlines (50 pounds). This scale is great--weighed each piece twice to make sure and the weight always came out within a few ounces for each reading. Worth the cost to make sure the weight reading is accurate. The scale was easy to use and having the tape measure included makes it even better! Would buy it again if I need another one.

Unstable reading. Does not hold measurement. Impossible to see reading while lifting luggage because of location of display. Multiple measurements of same weigth differ by about 0.4 lbs.
