Wonderful LOFREE Touch PBT Mouse - Love It!
Absolutely over-the-moon with my new Lofree mouse! Love the colorway that reminds me of when I used to go to work with my Dad in the 80s & everything computer related was putty-colored.Especially appreciate that the DPI readout & control button is located on the top of the mouse, instead of the underside as you find with many others. Love that I can quickly unplug this mouse & the mouse button & main body caps & are removable for easy cleaning. I also really like that there is a little platform for my thumb to rest on, so there is no friction from my digit dragging on my metal mousepad. Being a woman, the size was also pretty perfect for my hand, as well. You're mileage my differ depending on the size of your hand, of course. I cannot really speak to the wireless usage, as I keep mine plugged in.This mouse was extremely easy to plug & play, & I've had no issues whatsoever with use. Highly recommended if you're in the market for a unique-looking mouse that's also great to use.

Fun, But Also Unfortunately Fun-Sized.
I really liked this mouse in almost every way. The design is clever, the tracking smooth, and the tactile interactions satisfying. My main issue, and the reason I didn't end up keeping it, was that it was too small. I struggle with an RSI and the small size made it difficult to grip. The thumb support helped, but that, too, was a bit on the small size, especially relative to modern ergonomic mice. The height, however, wasn't bad and the overall design makes it easy to alter your grip style, so points for that. Funny enough, I found it more comfortable to use in my left hand, where my fourth and fingers could rest on the thumb support. If it weren't for the RSI — or perhaps if they had a left handed version that I could use Jimi Hendrix style — I would have been happy to keep it.

A terribly executed, cool idea.
I really wanted to like this. Absolutely love the concept and the look of it. But… the moment I pulled it out of the box I knew it was going to be a big miss. The mouse gives mech keyboard vibes and looks a touch industrial. In pictures.Once it’s in front of you, you can see that it’s cheap and cheaply made. And it gets worse when you touch it.It’s very light, which isn’t a bad thing for a mouse, but if you’re gonna make it light it’s gotta feel solid and smooth. This is neither. The materials are cheap and the fit and finish is on par with a knock off playschool toy.The size and button placement makes it a chore to try and use. The thumb buttons are very low and have no resistance, making it difficult to move the mouse without triggering the “back” button without putting your hand in an awkward position. This also makes the little thumb ledge pointless - unless your hands are child sized. If you’re expecting the key cap shaped mouse buttons to feel a bit like a keyboard, they don’t. They’re just low resistance standard mouse buttons decorated with a key cap, which creates a nice comfortable spot for your fingers that you have to keep your fingers off of to avoid unintended clicking.I could go on, but why? It’s a cool idea with terrible execution.

Surprisingly comfortable, but with an annoying squeak
Despite this mouse's chunky looks, it's surprisingly comfortable to use. You could almost ignore how strange the main buttons are, if you never look down at it. Note that this is a fairly small mouse, and probably more suited to travel than desktop use. Material quality is excellent, solid feeling with good texture. My only complaint is the shape along the right side; I wish it were more substantial and curved in less. The thumbrest on the other side is perfect, though. Each button has a fairly deep valley, which does a good job of keeping your fingers centered. The click actions of the main buttons is positive and has very good tactile feedback. The throw is a little bit longer than most other mice, but just barely, and it enhances the feel. The scroll wheel moves smoothly with well-defined clicks. It's also convex, and has a light and grippy rubber texture. The middle click is easy to execute, but also has a solid click. The problem here is, the right mouse button makes an annoying high-pitched squeak when wiggled. It seems to be the stem section rubbing against the mouse's shell, as it still does this when the 'keycap' is removed. I even exchanged mine (through Amazon) for another, only to find the replacement also squeaks. I reached out to Lofree but didn't hear a response. The side buttons are quite disappointing. They're very mushy feeling, with only the slightest bit of feedback when they're pressed. Given how good the main buttons are, I'm surprised at just how lackluster these are.Connectivity options are excellent. You can pair the mouse with two separate bluetooth devices, use the dongle, or connect via the included lightweight cable. When not in use, the dongle stores in the underside of the mouse and is retained magnetically. Latency for all of the wireless connections, especially the 2.4GHz dongle, was very low. The mouse automatically powers up when plugged in with a cable; no need to manually turn it on.Battery life has been excellent. I've yet to need to recharge it, despite using it a couple of hours a day for a week.In addition to the five DPI presets, there's also a custom one set by holding the DPI button, then scrolling the mousewheel to change and clicking it down to confirm. It's a very clever way to do this, and requires zero software on your computer. Bravo! While this mouse initially seemed like a gimmick, it turned out to actually be quite comfortable and functional. My only real complaint is the squeaky right mouse button. That's pretty disappointing for a 'premium' mouse. If that annoyance wasn't present, this would easily earn five stars. Still, if you're looking for something out of the ordinary and get lucky with a silent example, it's a great mouse.
