I have "problem feet" which have prevented me from participating fully in long hikes with friends, regardless of the type or cost of footwear I have tried over the years. And then I bought a pair of On Running Cloudsurfers, based on nothing but the "collapsing domino" design of the sole and the implied logic of footfall transition management. It was the best shoe-buying choice I have ever made, and has transformed my walking experience. These shoes have exceeded anything I could have expected - making even day-long treks over uneven terrain a breeze, removing any trace of discomfort not only from my feet but ankles and knees too. An absolute revelation. Why only four stars, then? Well, there are two niggles which could be engineered out: the lacing system is bizarre, with unnecessary loops at the top instead of conventional holes, resulting in twisted laces which are fiddly to pull taut; the other is that the shoes squeak with every step! How that can happen? There is no obvious source. Maybe the manufacturer has already sorted these issues?

長時間歩いても足が痛くならない。クッション性がとても良い。

ランニング用に購入した。履いてみた第一印象は，自然と走りたくなるというものであった。底面のつま先側が上に向かって湾曲しているため，身体を前方に軽く傾けるだけで足が前に出る（この影響か，スローペースで歩いているとペースを上げたくなってしまうこともある）。気になる点は，ソールの形状と素材の影響か，地面に着いた時に「キュッ」という音が鳴ることがあるということである。ソールの穴の部分にベビーパウダーなどを塗すと音がしなくなったという声があったため，試してみようと思う。（← ベビーパウダーを塗したところ，音がしなくなった。しかしながら，その後雨天時に着用したところ，塗したパウダーが流れ落ちたようで，再度音がするようなった。多少の手入れは必要であると思われる。; 2024年2月28日，追記）個人的にはクラウドモンスターとの比較もしてみたい。

東京出張時に履いて過ごしましたが、足が全然痛くなりませんでした。履き心地の感覚は、フワフワしますが最高です。もう一足欲しいです。
