Energy Rating F is the old A
I was annoyed to find out that the energy rating for these bulbs is now F and not A as they used to be and I had assumed would still, with the bulbs now made in China. One of the product marketing image covers where the rating is shown on the box in real life is covered with a lightbulb and another has been altered to not show the rating at all.What I didn’t know is that there has been a change in EU rules for lightbulbs as of 1 Sep 21 and the old A rating that these lightbulbs used to have is now F, but the bulbs no less energy efficient.

Cheap Chinese production vs the previous German production
The energy efficiency rating is stated as poor at F instead of the A++ the German production used to have. On the surface, everything looks the same so watch out.
