This screen was pretty easy to replace. It worked perfectly for my 124 Spider.

As item description says, it fits 2016 mx5. Mine is a 2018 and screen looks the same so I took a chance. Well this screen has the 35pin plug but turns out my 2018 mx5 has a 50 pin. The 50pin is normally used on the later 8" screen and the 7" in the CX models. The 50pin CX 7" screens have a different contour and won't physically fit the screen cutout on the mx5. 2017+ mx5 could order a CX screen with 50 pin plug (if you must have touch functionality) and trim the plastic contour (a lot) to fit the mx5 by using the old screen as a stencil... Point is if you have a 2017+ mx5 with the 7" Bose radio, you, like me, have the rare screen used only by the mx5 and (outside the US) ~2016+ mazda 2/Demio. The correct screen is harder to get in the US, and must be ordered and shipped internationally for $100+ more than this one. This screen fits perfectly apart from it won't plug in anywhere so I unplugged my old delaminated one and installed this without plugging it in. I just wanted it not to look damaged anymore. I control mine with the remote control built into the center console anyway. Screen looks more transparent like a cell phone now vs when new; the car's screen was more translucent and matte colored. I'm happy. 5 stars for accurate description and good initial quality and fit. Been installed a week so far. PS- the gel from the old screen gets on everything during removal, so be prepared with alcohol wipes or in my case lint-free towels, microfiber, carb cleaner and glass cleaner. Carb cleaner also dissolves the old glue tape after scraping it off the mating surface with plastic scrapers.

Works great for my moms mazda 3. Install took like 30 minutes, longest part of install was cleaning up the glue from the previous digitizer. When removing the 10mm bolt inside the dash, I placed a piece of paper into the socket which locked the bolt into the socket thus preventing it from falling into the dash. Did the same to re-install said bolt.

Perfect fit exactly what I needed. When doing the install, I recommend heating up the original one. A little bit with blow dryer to loosen the glue to get the old one out and makes it easier to scrape the glue residue off.

Fits perfectly in my Mazda 3 after installation. Costs great compared to what dealer will charge. On the other hand, the instructions were a joke. A 16+ step process with only 2 pictures to explain it all and describing what to do only as 'Remove this' or 'Disconnect that'. MUST watch a YouTube (search 'Mazda screen replacement') installation video! The instructions even tell you to watch a video to understand the procedure, without giving any links!

Took my time and installed it correctly. Heating the old screen to remove from the bezel is the hardest part. I lined it up correctly and I have a clear screen again. I forgot that this car even had a touch screen. It is glossier than the OEM glass. I kinda like it. It makes the colors pop and it looks new again.

I properly installed. Looked great. Car sat for a few weeks till weather cleared. Got in the car and now the bottom left corner of the screen keeps popping off. Can't return/replace. Any suggestions on an adhesive I could use on the bottom left corner that won't negatively impact the touch screen or affect the look of the screen?

Installation was easy up to removing the old screen from the bezel. The hardest part was using a heat gun and firm pushing to get the bezel off the old screen. It would be perfect if it came with its own bezel.

Its a good product. Mazda doesn’t provide the display glass. So this was a saver. Loved it

It's a bit finicky to disassemble but installation seemed straight forward except noticed the ribbon cable was slightly off center when dropped into the bezel. This meant it couldn't connect properly to the head unit and touch was only partially registering. Luckily I had ordered 2 of these in case one of them got smashed during install and the second one was not misaligned. Just a word of caution to the manufacturer to do better QC to make sure the ribbon cable is properly aligned Everytime and not installed off center (it was noticable when we put the two replacements on top of each other with the bezels lined up) Once installed properly this new screen works perfectly.

Installation was smooth. Screen is glossy, so you see reflections. Didn’t solve the problem of “ghosting” but looks nicer with the cracks gone. If I were to purchase again, I would look for a matte one.
