I'm very satisfied. The rocks were the size advertised. They came early. The colors were varied. I'm adding them to my rock garden. They will work perfectly and look very pretty. I ordered these rocks because I needed rocks that were 3 inches to 4 inches, and that is what these were represented to be. As I have received them and unpacked them there are very few rocks that even get to 3 inches and certainly no rocks that are 4 inches. Very disappointing. Do not order these rocks if you need something larger than 2 1/2 inches.

They are great rocks, however they are not necessarily all the size you think you are getting. I thought I was purchasing larger rocks per the description than what I had purchased at Home Depot and was sadly mistaken. The rocks for the same pound bag at Home Depot were 14.00 a bag, adverse to their 65.00 per bag claiming the rocks were larger than they were.

Exceeded expectations

If you're looking for rocks for an effect with plant containers or for an aquarium these Mexican rocks are a good solution. For plant containers to create a rock scene, they would work best with larger containers as these rocks are relatively large, not overtly large but much larger than pebble rocks. When they are wet, they look black but as soon as they dry, which is rather quickly they go back to a dark grey color looking like rather common rocks. The texture is smooth, likely tumbled by machine rather than gathered from nature. Either way they create a nice effect for cactus or succulents in a mini rock garden planter. I've included a picture that has pebble rocks as well as the larger rocks that are reviewed here. This will give you an indication of the size difference to see if it is suitable for your needs.I would recommend these rocks for garden crafting, mixed media art or aquariums just to name a few projects these rocks would be suitable for.
