Nice light dew shield
Snaps onto my Seestar S50 easily. It helps block out stray light from the neighbors and helps keep the lens dew free.

It very much helps with ambient light for your Seestar
I ordered this along with some diffraction filters. I use it every time I use the Seestar. I live in a light-polluted environment. It's difficult to find a location without a street light or some other light nearby. Even if the Seestar isn't looking at one of the lights, the light hitting the lense from an angle affects the image. I've noticed a noticeable improvement in quality when using this.If the light is bright, the plastic does reflect some of it if the source is too close to the area the Seestar is focused upon, but it helps quite a bit. I understand it acts as a dew shield too, though I've not had the opportunity to test that aspect out. Oh, and one thing I LOVED about ordering from this company is that I ordered both this dew shield and the refraction filters, and they tossed in a small bag of gummi bears as a treat. I thought that was lovely!

works great!
I bought this dew shield for my Seestar S50 and it works great. I did have to sand the part that fits into the Seestar a bit due some small imperfections. After sanding down it attached easily and stayed in place perfectly.

Must have in humid conditions

For dew and stray light
The shield is a tight fit over the Seestar S50 objective, so go slow and press gently. My first photo session lasted about an hour, starting about an hour after sunset. The site was about 20 feet above the seashore, and 30 feet back. So the humidity was high, but no dew formed on the objective. I also felt the shield kept out a lot of light coming from the side.

As described
Fits my SeeStar S50 perfectly. No issues.

Kinda useless and maybe dangerous
I think this is made of polylactic acid (PLA), a bioplastic made from renewable resources like corn starch, sugar beet, and/or sugarcane and often used for 3D printing. That's the good news. The bad news is that the device fits very poorly into the SeeStar and in my experience hinders the image recognition/plate-solving activities. Of note is that the SeeStar S50 has a dew heater option, standard. Also, leaving the shield in place when stowing the "arm" is likely to damage the telescope (I nearly did).

Tight Fit
This is a good dew shield for the Seestar but is a very tight fit.
