Microfiber Hardwood Floor Mop Refill, 1 Mop Head Refill

I originally bought the Scotch-Brite mop and cover some time ago, and later purchased two more covers from Amazon. We have a tiny terrier who hates snow and cold. Because you can't tell a dog to pee in different places depending on season, we pad-trained him, He has his pad in a room with vinyl on the floor, so it's an easy clean. But the rest of the house is floored with a beautiful Hickory hardwood. Now, our little guy goes where he is trained to, but that doesn't mean he doesn't sometimes (often... usually) pee on his forepaws. Then he tracks his stuff through the house. We call it 'pee-pee feet'. Ugh. So, we use this mop cover (with the Scotch-Brite mop - doesn't fit others) with a Bona cleaner to get rid of the pawprints, as well as any other dust, dirt, footprints, etc. Does a great job. Recall I said I have three covers. When one gets dirty, it gets dropped in the laundry room for washing. The original one we bought has been washed countless times and, while it doesn't look its original pristine lime green completely, it does wash up easy, goes back on the mop, and really doesn't look the worse for wear. Still fits the mop well, is still soft and non-scratching, still cleans up the pee-pee feet. I think the original cover is around three years old now and still in use. No reservations at all about recommending a simple and effective cleaning tool

I've tried other brands of microfiber mop pads, and I usually have a big problem with their not gliding easily or not getting rid of the stains or spots on my floors. There's a slight nubbiness or texture to these microfiber mop pads that makes mopping a breeze and helps keep the floors much cleaner than with the smoother-type pads, while still being totally soft enough for any hard floor surface. I just spray the mop pad with filtered water. I don't use any cleaner at all. I wash them in warm water and tumble dry them on low -- no bleach, no fabric softener, no dryer sheets. I always wash microfiber cloths and pads in a separate load because the lint from other items can clog up the microfiber in the same way that any fabric softener can. I purchased my two mops and subsequent pads at Target, but my local one has either stopped selling them or is temporarily out of stock. So I have just purchased four more replacement mop pads from Amazon and hope that this product is NEVER discontinued.

I love the idea of being able to throw my mopheads into the wash after each use and having a like-new mop each time! I have used cotton terry mop heads and fashioned my own out of soft, absorbant microfiber cloths meant for car detailing. The cotton were OK, but the elastic that held them onto the mop itself stretched out after repeated washings so they were very short-lived. The microfiber cloths worked very well but were a pain to wrap onto the mop - and they never stayed put. The 3m mob covers are a good cross between the two except I find them to be not quite as absorbent as the cloths. However, they are a little more abrasive - more like cotton terry - so they're actually better at picking up stuck-on dirt. All in all, they are a very good product and I imagine I'll be using them for a long time.

I bought the Hardwood Floor Mop and it came with one microfiber mop but I wanted a second to use while I am washing the other one. These are soft, easy to use, and I throw them in the washer to clean them. They really pick up dirt and remove smudges from hardwood floors. I have been using the two mop heads for several months and I have had no issues with either. They seem durable and handle the washer nicely. + Inexpensive + Easy to Clean + Easy to Install On Mop + Soft and Pick up Large Amount of Dirt and Floor Grime _Bottom Line_ Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. I recommend having two microfiber heads on hand to rotate the two and never be out of a mop whenever its needed.

I use this more as a wet mop and it does a good job of getting the floors clean and picking up anything missed by the vacuum. What I love most about this mop is how easy it is to switch cloths. The mop head folds in half with the click of a button so you can easily slip off and on a new one. The button is large so you can use your foot to depress it open and close (for those who may have arthritis in their hands). The mop is light weight. Covers a good area. When not in use, there is a hole at the top of the handle to hang it on a hook or nail. Likewise you can leave the mop head in the folded position to save space. Unfolded, it can easily stand upright if leaned against a wall.

I bought this mop with the refills about 5-6 years ago and without a doubt it is the best. I have vinyl floors and it's better than the swifter. When using as a dust mop on the floors does a wonderful job of picking up those thousands of hairs my jack russell spreads all over. This is the first time I've had to order refills since I bought it, and they're still good but thought would be wise in case Scotch Brite decides to discontinue, like some companies do. I don't use the mop to wet mop the floors as it would take a long time, I just use to use, instead of my heavy vacuum. My daughter is a cleaning lady and she uses it for moping and dusting the floors and loves it.
