Mr. Pen- Framing Square, 8 x 12 Inch, Silver, Right Angle Ruler, L Shape Ruler, Metal Square

This carpenter square is for crafting projects and paper arts and I wanted something made of metal but with a nice finish so nothing could get messed up or torn during use. Many "tool-like" measuring tools are made for wood or metal and no real thought to the finish being smooth and safe for work with more delicate surfaces but this one is great. Smooth, yet hefty, accurate measurements and an excellent square will make this a go-tool tool in my papercrafting and stamping arsenal. Works well and doesn't shift around during use. Quite happy with all my Mr. Pen purchases.

This carpenter square is durable and very accurate. It’s a bit heavy, but that actually makes it easier to work with since it stays steady in place. The markings are clear and the overall quality feels reliable. Great functionality, strong durability, and good value for money.

This square seems to be solid. I'm sure it will last a long time.

Good quality

This is a framing square marked on one side in inches (graded down to 16ths of an inch) and on the other side in centimeters (graded down to millimeters). Measurement ticks are marked on both the inside and outside edges, and zero is spot-on, at the corners. The two legs are a little over 20 cm (8 inches) and a little over 30 cm (12 inches) long. The longer leg is 1.5 inches (just under 4 cm) wide, and the shorter one is 1 inch (about 2.5 cm) wide. The square is strong (steel, I believe), and (it's tough for me to measure this) at least 1 mm thick, but definitely less than 2 mm thick. There is a hole near the corner, which I presume is for hanging the square on a nail. I purchased the version with white markings and print on a black base for placement in photographs of small things, for the purpose of measuring their size. The print quality is good, and the paint seems durable.

Nice quality carpenter square. Good for DIY projects around the house, would be probably too small for any serious work. Well made. Satisfied with it. Absolutely, nothing to complain about, good to see how nicely this was made.

This square is solid, clearly marked, and accurate. I’ve used it on several woodworking projects and it holds up great. Perfect size and weight—not flimsy at all. Great buy for DIYers or pros!

I really like this ruler...it's heavy.

Pretty good, checked it against some squares at work and it seems to be true. Good weight, just going to use it for home use and not any important measurements, ie, building, woodworking
