Useful for connecting hard drive to an older iPad.
This works great to connect an external hard drive to my iPad with the Lightning port. The hard drive shows up in the Files App. It needs to be used with a powered USB hub as the iPad cannot power the drive.

Handy adapter.
I needed this to be able to plug a USB microphone into my Ipad. It;s great that you can also charge your Ipad without having to disconnect it.

Works until it doesn’t
Bought this to replace another one that lasted about 3 months. This one worked good for the first 6 months and then very the last 2 weeks it started to give me problems connecting and then tonight it stopped working altogether. I guess that’s what I get for buying cheap Apple knockoffs.
