INSTA360 Premium Lens Guard for X4 8K 360 Action Camera, Pair

One of the Lens guards fell on the first ride; this is the second pair. I don’t recommend any lens guard by Insta 360. I have tried both, and it doesn’t work for motorcycles because of lock mechanism flaws, which cannot tolerate motorcycle vibration. Edit: Support contacted and investigated the issue and is in the process of fixing it; I will give five stars to support and will update here if the new lens guard, with their instructions, will last bumpy motorcycle rides.

I use my X4 on my motorcycles to capture behind me, which means stuff is being thrown from the tires or slipstreams past me, the X4 needs some good protection, and so far these have taken some abuse with no visible scratching or artifacts in the videos. The do a better job of glare reduction than the standard lens covers. So far very happy with my upgrade.

Initially, I was not very happy with these lens guards. I found them hard to mount and unmount, and that they had more lens flare than the standard guards. However, insta360 customer support helped me fix the problem at no cost. i am now very happy with the result in general, and the very service minded insta360 customer support in particular.

These lens guards do a great job protecting the Insta360 X4 lenses, which is super important for keeping footage clean and the camera safe. However, they tend to scratch pretty easily, even with careful use. If you're using your camera frequently or in rough environments, you might need to replace them more often than expected. Still, better scratched guards than scratched lenses

Great premium quality. the lens guard that I got out of the box got scratched during our vacation and it wasn't a big scratch but on the footage, it's noticeable. I went with the premium for replacement and I realized that I should've got one and instead of settling with the regular lens guard. It's pretty pricey but the feel of it is definitely worth it. It was a similar installation as the regular and it functions as expected. perfect fit for my Insta360 X4

This was an utter waste of money and time. We purchased two for our X4s. Installed them as instructed. We were only two minutes into our ride when they blew off of the camera. If there is no way to lock these things in or screw them in what is the point. This seems like a beta product that was put out to be tested at an expensive price. Why would Insta put out these subpar accessories for such a premium, excellent product like the X4. Do not waste your time, thoroughly disappointed.

Valió la pena esperar porque se demoraron un poco por temas de aduana, al ser un producto original viene bien fabricado, le quedó muy bien a mi cámara y como todos los accesorios que ofrece Insta360 vienen con todo lo necesario para su instalación y muy bien empacados.

I was initially hesitant to purchase this lens guard due to the negative reviews. However, after my plastic lens guards (the ones that come with the X4) scratched easily, I decided to take a chance on these, especially given Amazon’s excellent return policy. I’m thrilled to say that my decision paid off—this lens guard is fantastic. Installation was straightforward thanks to the clear tutorial provided. The picture quality remains superb, and now I have a scratch-proof lens guard that gives me peace of mind. Five stars well-deserved!
