Good rice+ cooker!
This thing is GREAT! I'll admit I got it as a gag gift for my husband because he's an amazing cook but hates the way his rice turns out. I expected it to never be used. Boy was I wrong. It is used on a daily basis and its a simple and easy rice cooker. It seems like no matter what my husband does to the white rice, its seems to come out sticky and fluffy (really great in my opinion) and does brown rice like a champ! It can also easily handle things like steaming broccoli (or other veggies) and we've tried hardboiled eggs. All around this thing is simple, small, and effective! I really thought I was getting a gag gift but here we are able to say that it does hold up and work really well so totally worth the purchase!

SMALL IN SIZE YET GREAT RESULTS
Small sized yet it works great. I made one cup of Quinoa with Chicken Broth, Powdered Chicken Broth and a wee bit of olive oil and it turned out great. Cooks well throughout.

A MUST BUY!
I don't usually give long reviews but! This one deserves it. If you're like me, and incapable of cooking rice no matter how hard you try, then BUY THIS COOKER. First. You should know this is a *small* rice cooker. You get about 3 smaller servings of rice. Maybe 4. But! If you're only prepping for yourself, or for one meal, its PERFECT. If youre meal prepping, like I was, I had to run 3 different times to prep 6 meals. But it only takes 12 minutes to cook. While your doing everything else to prep your meals, you blink and your rice is done. And when I tell you the rice is tender and perfectly cooked. MAN! if I had any reason to buy a 2nd one, I would. But the one is perfect for me. ☺️ buy this for you college students, or for your meal prep.

Great product, not great troubleshooting
When I unpacked the rice cooker, it wouldn’t turn on. There was nothing I could do to convince the button to stay switched to “cook”. I reached out directly to Aroma support but they took a while to get back to me, and in the meantime husband had a tinker around with it. It turned out that the middle of the heating element that pressed down when the inner bowl is in place needed to be adjusted and turned just a little (with the thing unplugged, make good choices folks!), and we were finally in business. I feel this type of information could be included in the troubleshooting section of the manual, it seems like something that probably happens often. When support got back to me, the follow up questions they asked didn’t have much to do with the problem or the fix, but whatever it’s fixed now. It works well, washes nicely. The manual doesn’t give any info about water ratios of anything other than rice, so although it can handle multiple types of grains, it doesn’t tell you how to cook them. I have found that many packages have that info on them though, and it’s typically the same ratio as stove top cooking. Bonus points for a cute colour and a delightfully small countertop footprint. The inner bowl and lid seem to go happily through the dishwasher, though I recommend drying the bowl as soon as possible.

My tiny kitchen hero 💛 :,-)
Okay, listen. I did not expect to fall in love with a rice cooker. I bought the AROMA Mini mostly because it was cute, small, and the “Milk Tea” color whispered my name. But this little thing has earned its own sacred spot on my countertop like it pays rent. 💀 First: perfect rice, every time. I’m talking fluffy, zero-drama, no babysitting. I throw in a cup of jasmine or sushi rice, add water, hit the button, and go live my life without a care in the world. It automatically clicks to Keep Warm when it’s done, which is basically the appliance version of someone tucking a blanket around your rice and saying, “Shh… I’ve got you.” But here’s the twist: this mini guy does way more than rice. I’ve made: • Creamy oatmeal that doesn’t glue itself to the pot • Cozy little soups that tasted like I actually tried • A scandalously easy mac and cheese • Quinoa that finally behaves itself • And yes… milk tea pearls (don’t judge me, it worked) And because it only makes 2 cups uncooked (4 cups cooked), I’m never drowning in leftovers or wasting ingredients. It’s perfect for small kitchens, dorms, work desks, or honestly anyone who wants delicious food without committing to a full-size appliance. If you live alone, seriously consider this pick It’s light, portable, and ridiculously simple to clean. If you’ve ever cried scrubbing out a giant rice pot at 11pm… this is your redemption arc. Final verdict: If you want a rice cooker that’s adorable, dependable, and secretly incredibly useful, get this one. The sugar-sweet colors alone are worth it, but the convenience makes it a tiny powerhouse. I can’t believe something this cute is also this competent. Everything you would expect from a rice cooker- only personal sized. 10/10. Would buy again. Would protect it with my life. Can of soda included for size reference ♡

small, cute and efficient!
While it is smaller than expected, it still makes 4 cups of rice, and it saves space on the counter! It so cute and compact. I highly recommend it!

Year worth of use
It was around $15 when I purchased and has lasted me just a little over a year so I will say for what I paid I guess I got my moneys worth. It can cook white and jasmine rice just fine. Brown rice? Don’t even waste your rice and time, I tried multiples times on multiple occasions with multiple brands but it’s always somehow mushy and still hard and uncooked. I’ve never had an issue with it sticking to the inside of the pot. After its year of use it’s started to rapidly brown the bottom of the rice while sitting on warm and it’s leaking water from the bottom, neither of which it used to do so I’ve had to unplug it immediately after it’s done cooking. It’s small and easy to use but don’t expect to have it for a few years

Not for use in U.K. wrong plug and incorrect voltage. Only plus in this saga was the painless returns process. Hats off to the supplier.

Worked like a charm 1st time. Perfect size for my small kitchen. I am glad I read other reviews. It makes 2c of uncooked rice, but you have to use the cup provided (measured to 1/3 cup). 2c uncooked rice is like three portions for me! I will update if anything goes wonky haha. I highly recommend downloading the recipe through the QR code in the manual. It hase some great recipes I am excited to try.
