I haven't had a mic like this before so it was quite the upgrade. I plugged it in downloaded the software, set my levels, and it's just perfect! I don't have to fiddle with gain or noise reduction it's all somewhat one and done, I have it mounted on a solid arm and I just love it.

Worth the money, if you are serious about your use case. Perfect for content creators, speaking/narration work ect.

Great microphone, but no gain control on the mic!!! Or any other controls, except mute. It is really annoying but not enough to be a dealbreaker. They have an app you have to download and use to be able to control its built-in features, but the reviews on it are horrible and say it crashes 75% of the time. If you have an audio interface, that'll be better than just connecting with the USB-C (which I prefer to USB) and dealing with the app. The sound quality is excellent, but at $300 (with tax), it'd better be!! This is an investment, for sure.

I have used SHURE mics for over 30 yrs. When I got into being a creator, I knew the only mic I wanted was a Shure! They have some of the best sound quality, and they last a long time. This isn't their top of the line model, but for creators it's a great mic for not a whole lot of money. Good buy, good seller.
