When I ordered this I thought it was a specific liver test kit but as it turns out it is a more general urine test kit which will indicate some liver key tests but would need clinical knowledge to interpret all the results.I thought this might be a single test that showed a positive or negative liver function.Using this kit is easy, take one of the test strips and immerse in a fresh urine sample for a few seconds, remove and shake to remove excess urine then allow the test beds to develop a colour change for up to one minute.Next compare each test bed to the colour chart provided to get your results. The leaflet in the box gives more information on how to interpret the results.Verdict: A useful test kit for a wide range of possible medical issues but not a specific simple liver function test.

I like a glass of red every other night. As I'm getting older I tend to worry about the damage it may be doing/done.With this easy to follow test with quick results, I know now I can open another bottle 🤪

There were supposed to be 10 strips in the box and there were only five. It was a different box altogether. Therefore I’ve paid for 10 strips and only got 5

Fond of a glass of red I do worry about my liver so, when this test turned up on Vine I thought I would give it a try.The test comes in a box with quick instructions and then a detailed information leaflet, magnifying glass needed, that left me mind-boggled. You get 5 polythene packages each containing a test strip + a small card with all the relevant colours on it and writing that also requires a magnifying glass.As with any urine type test, use a clean, sterilised container and go catch some urine; open a package and remove the test strip without touching the test area, the strip comes out top first; dip the strip into the urine collected and wait 20 to 120 seconds, by which time, if it is going to, it will start to change colour. It's easy to align the test strip with the colour chart enabling a reading of the results.Some of the colours on my strip did change and, being a hypochondriac I obviously thought the worst and then tried to look up information on the web - to no effect, I am still none the wiser and, I suppose it will have to be a GP visit.It's a good kit but should be used with a bit of caution. There is no telling whether or not this is accurate short of following up an unsatisfactory result with a GP visit, particularly if you have other health concerns. Also, informative as this kit is, it really needs an idiot proof (for someone like me) information sheet to enable a lay person to get a clearer idea of the results and assess whether there is any cause for concern and whether a follow up GP appointment is advisable.
