I recently purchased a digital camera for a graduate seminar project and needed an SD card adapter so I would be able to immediately transfer the images to my phone. I usually read the reviews on these things but I was so excited to get everything I needed. I only had around 40-45 images if even on the 64GB SD card before plugging it into the adapter and it completely warped it and now I cannot use it anymore. I’m beyond grateful it was a cheap SD card I was using while I waited for a better one to be shipped. But please save yourself the time & money & go with something else.I will say that it did work and I was able to view and download the images from the SD card to my phone. So if you are done with your SD card & it is complete full, then this may be an option. But even then, I don’t see the point in getting this!

Nearly stripped my SD card
Fake terrible thing that nearly scratched my SD card, thank god I had the common sense to not push it in all the way. Be careful with your SD cards people!

Works with issues
It was a bit challenging until I understood the issues.The adapter does not work reliably with >32G SD card.The adapter or Apple device creates a Spotlight-V100 file folder.The adapter or Apple device creates an additional 4k file prefixed with a ._ for ever file added.To playback specific track, double it and subtract 1 (track 5 = 9)

It’s an off brand but it seems to work well

Defective Item, worked only on the first attempt
Worked ok just the first time. Tried again a month later and it is not detected at all by the iPad. Tried all the troubleshooting steps, does not work. Waste of money. No means to get product support.
