I originally wrote a scathing review because I used the helmet once and then it would not charge. The company responded and offered to replace the helmet and asked that I send a video of what the helmet was/was not doing. In the process of making the video to send I realized that when I used the charging cord that came with the helmet (not any old USB-C) then the helmet charged just fine. Sooo, I wiped the off my face, deleted the old review, and wrote this one instead.I give it 5 stars primarily for a solid value for the money, the seller is responsive and was willing to stand behind the quality of the product, and it fit well and has a big viewing area for the money.If you’re in this area of budget, this is a good quality helmet, as long as you charge it with the provided cable.

I was admittedly skeptical about this, especially at such a reasonable price, but after sticking it on the charger and giving the test button a few pokes, I got to work with my stick welder and came away with intact eyes and a good clean weld. The extra large lens really is lovely for a better field of view, especially in tight spots where my previous unit made it hard to put eyes on target. It does need a few good stretches to get it into a proper shape from being in the box, but it also fits very well and doesn't slide off my head even when it gets hot. Overall I'm very pleased with this item and would recommend it comfortably for anyone doing welding or extensive grinding.

It works very well but i found it to not be very comfortable and the plastic straps that sit on your head slide around on the head and if you tighten them too much they don't slide but are not comfortable. This is my second welding helmet and both had the same issues, both were from different manufacturer. I do like that it is rechargeable and i don't need to buy batteries. I do not weld every day and only for small home projects so this is ok for me but if you do a lot of welding i would recommend a little better quality helmet.

I believe the mask itself is a little too flexible. They should have used a thicker plastic. But having said that, I'm not returning it, and I'm not using my old one. The size and clarity of the screen is awesome! If it broke tomorrow, I'd buy another.

Great helmet and very cheap. Really like the big see through screen. I'm not a professional welder, but this helps me alot at work as my company only buy those cheap welding helmets with the little screen. I like the fact that it has a rechargeable battery, no more buying those little round batteries anymore. Only little issue I encountered is the fitment issue, it doesnt want to stay on all the time and have to constantly readjust it, but that's probably because I have a big head so this I believe isn't a universal problem. I highly recommend it if you don't want to spend hundreds on those name brand welding helmets

Good helmet and charging system, however the piece that clings on to ur head decided to discombobulate mid weld

Hood is exactly as expected. I love it. Got it on a coupon for 25% off but would buy again at full retail price. Durability seems good but will be tested with time. I don’t weld a lot but I do have to in small stints about once a week at work. This is my first auto darkening I’ve personally owned and seems to be a better value for the money that the one I was going to purchase from HFT. The headgear feels very too and comfortable with the optional back padding. Battery life will be tested and if I find it to be an issue I’ll update. So far from my test everything works extremely well.
