Value for money, but steep, but it does seem, unfortunately in line with most joint medication, even for my dog, so I know that it tends to be unavoidable. I think sometimes that glucosamine joint medication does somehow help with my sore neck and back issues that flare up every month or so for some reason so I will continue to take. I'm an artist who uses my hands frequently and I find that I get less episodes where my dominant arm, wrist and hand are sore.

One would think this is an ample supply for fifty dollars; however, you are to take 1 pill 3 times a day so that changes things. Does this work? Yes. Are the ingredients minimal without extra "fluff"? Yes. So, pick your battle. It does have shellfish and fish allergen alerts so FYI.

I appreciate that this these capsules are smaller and easier to swallow than large tablets. However, other glucosamine supplements I've purchased in the past only had to be taken once per day. This one has to be taken three times a day, which is annoying. I want to be able to take all my pills at the same time every day. I don't want to have to remember to take pills an extra two times a day. Maybe this wouldn't be as big of a deal if you're already taking pills three times a day, but for me it's a significant inconvenience, hence the lower rating.

I think there must have been a popped capsule somewhere in the batch I received, because the gelcaps are a bit dusted with what should be inside the gelcaps. That aside, they're fine. I got them as a potentially misguided experiment to see if I'd have an allergic reaction, since the listing implies there are no allergens in it, but the bottle sensibly points out that it contains shrimp, crab, and shark. I have not had any bad reaction to it, but if you personally are allergic to shrimp or crab, be aware of that!

This brand gets a 10/10 for making it very clear what allergens are included and which are not. That is very nice for those who are dealing with a lot of allergy issues. Here is the thing you need to know about the dosing on this. It says one capsule contains 400 and 500 mg of the classic joint help duo. Then says take up to 3 a day. 3 a day is much better if you want it to be effective if considering the studies of higher doses being helpful. Also, it’s a nice simple supplement, meaning it doesn’t have other things that some joint supplements have in it like turmeric and Boswellia for extra help with inflammation, but sometimes people are taking those in other places as well so it’s nice to have the option of a simple supplement for basic joint support. I’ve been taking this for joint support and can say it’s helped reduce some of the stiffness I usually feel after workouts. The capsules are easy enough to swallow and haven’t upset my stomach, which is always a plus. I like that it combines glucosamine and chondroitin in one—keeps things simple. Only downside is the serving size. Taking it three times a day means this bottle runs out pretty quickly, so it ends up being a bit pricier than it looks at first glance. Still, it’s been effective enough that I’ll probably stick with it for now, just wish the quantity matched the dosage a little better.
