Programmable Logic Controller (Plc) Tutorial, Siemens Simatic S7-200

It is a good book and I recommend for any body!

The book is based in examples and cover a wide range of typical application but if you are really new at the use of S7/200 you will not be able to do much, also I wish there was a list of commands because I could not find the specific information I was looking for. Other way is good as a general introduction to the s7/200.

Author describes clearly all related concepts covered in the book.

Programming instructions covered are: contacts, coils, timers, counters, shift, rotate, FirstIn FirstOut tables.Each project is clearly explained and the ladder logic includes thorough network comments. Each project also includes a wiring diagram to show the inputs and outputs. This is a good starting text to learn the functions available on the Siemens S7-200 and how to apply them.

This book is very basic. And only a very simple overview. It is definitely not for an advanced user. I would not recommended unless you have no idea how a plc works
