The media could not be loaded. I hit a lot of bumps with this device, but it's finally working well. I'm not sure what it was, a firmware update or something? But it fixed my 2 main issues. One was that it wasn't holding charge, now it does just fine. And second was random glitching shown in the video. Doesn't happen anymore.This is basically a portable Google TV box with a built in battery. And also an added micro SD card slot. It can handle all the streaming apps except Netflix. It's missing certification for it. But I didn't use Netflix so it's fine for me. People have done workarounds by installing the phone app.The output is USB C so it's perfect fit for AR/XR glasses without any adapters. USB C monitors too. You can reduce the screen size in display settings if needed for your glasses. Can also activate a pointer to be able to use it as an airmouse from accessibility settings. It's a bit pricey, but I was lucky to get it when it was 50 off so around 120. Not sure if the price makes sense, but it's the only solution like this on the market right now. You can pair Bluetooth accessories to it as needed. I use a separate air mouse and Bluetooth headphones.

It gets suspiciously warm while in use.

The media could not be loaded. Amazing Entertainment Box for your Glasses! I was looking for an entertainment system where I could access all my music and movie needs in one place while traveling or when I want to watch in privacy. This streaming box has all the streaming services I need(LOVE the dedicated Youtube button). It integrates perfectly with my XR Glasses, and fidelity of the image source is spot-on! Now I can watch all my favorite movies on plane rides, or even when in bed! The layout is simple, yet useful. Getting to my desired apps has never been easier, and setting up Google Home with the remote was very easy. The ergonomics are just right for my hand, and the rounded design is comfortable to hold as well.

Got this to go along with the glasses and to use when traveling to connect to Hotel or guest TVs with a USB-C to HDMI adapter. I added a 200gb Micro card and "formatted" it to work with the player. To add "downloadable" or offline content you need to connect to a PC using the "Charge" connection. The computer will connect giving you access to the device and USB-C drives to add content. I used some of my 3-D (SBS) content which looks great on my glasses. My issue is I can't connect it to any of my TVs via the USB-C to HDMI cable. I don't have a Monitor to test the USB-C to USB-C connectability. I am pretty sure it's not the cable because it works when I connect my Phone. This may require a "special" cable or maybe a firmware update. It's a shame since I wanted to use this on other TVs when traveling instead of using my laptop to stream to a hotel TV. If anyone knows if a different cable will work, please post.Merry Christmas!

I was hoping to use this to access my Prime Video collection or to use an SD or USB device to view videos when there is no Internet. NONE OF THIS IS POSSIBLE UNLESS YOU FIRST GIVE GOOGLE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION VIA A GOOGLE ACCOUNT!! This is totally unacceptable since I avoid GOOGLE web sites or products as much as possible which is getting harder to do. In this product GOOGLE is the Gate Keeper to using the device. The idea was to be able to view videos on a SD card as shown on the Pocket TV web site when the Internet is not available. Since you MUST interact with GOOGLE to activate the device, this will NOT work. Just to use Prime Videos or Pluto TV you MUST first give the GOOGLE Over Lord your personal information that will then allegedly find it's way to data brokers that can then me monetized. GOOGLE allegedly records how you use the product as part of GOOGLE ANALYTICS. You can not see or read the privacy policy before activating a GOOGLE account first. In the recent past GOOGLE has been accused of allegedly not honoring a users privacy request. How I use a paid for consumer product or what videos I watch or web sites I visit is MY business and NOT that of any corporation. If any of this is inaccurate, please correct me with documented facts and I will change my review accordingly.

I picked this up, because connecting my phone to my glasses worked but was quirky. For example, some video apps required me to leave the phone screen on, and navigating the apps was clunky while wearing the glasses. This device gives the intuitive feel of a TV remote and great battery life.It did take a little time for setup. I had to connect to WiFi, sign in to my Google account, let it update and reboot, then install and sign into each app I wanted to use.After that, it was fantastic. It is just like using any Google TV device you may have used, and as a YouTube TV scriber, I was able to get a lot out of it for both live, DVR, and on-demand content across a range of apps.
