Yes it did help with my pain levels, yes it was comfortable after initial set up, still got blisters but range if motion was so much better. For $50 I thought it was the greatest thing on earth! The velcro straps started to curl up and scratch me. Then a month and 10 days later the metal support started coming through. So now I can't wear it. I contacted support about the velcro and they were great about the velcro strap but not about the full brace falling apart. I asked if they got my pictures they said yes and that was it. Nothing else. I was singing their wonderful products. Well I ended up purchasing the original one for $120 not their copycat splint. It still gives me some blisters but with moleskin and a different sleeve I found online (theirs did nothing except more blisters) I'm a happy with the more expensive and better one. So before getting what I needed for $120 I spent way over $120 and 3 out of 5 of those braces were from velpeau. So just get the real one and not this copycat because it will last you years! This lasts a little over a month!

As we get 'younger' and have little health things crop up, I've developed a little arthritis in my thumb joints and my Dr. recommended I try something like this. I bought the first and when I realized how well it works, bought one for the other hand. I don't wear them a lot but if I start feeling achy I'll put one on at night to avoid moving my hands in a way that aggravates the joint, doing that for a few nights usually helps quite a bit.The velcro makes it easy to adjust for your own fit, and the fabric liner makes it more comfortable overall.

Bought this six weeks post op from CMC arthroplasty with partial trapeziecotmy. Didn’t like the splint made by the therapist so tried this one. Perfect support for the thumb while allowing full range of motion. Gonna get one for my left hand that is still riddled with arthritis.

This splint didn’t help me since my Degenerative Joint Disease/Osteoarthritis is worse than this was designed for. But then, it contributed to my continuing education. Some of the wrist-based splints (braces) that run around $10 worked better for meBetter still would be to get a referral to a hand therapist for a custom splint until I can get a surgical repair.

Fits well. Easy to adjust
