MASUNN USB Inverter Controller For 1-10M LED El Wire Glow Flexible Neon Decor DC5V

Worked as listed, hooked it up to some el wire from amazon. I was told these inverters make a loud buzzing sound, I was prepared to enclose it in a small mdf box, however, no need it really isn't noticable.

Loud bus coming from it and not working

I've used this stuff loads of times for different projects and it's fantastic to work with. Yes it's got a high pitch noise from the current change over but you can get around that with a simple ip67 enclosure box and a little bit of sound deaden inside it. Can't hear a thing now from them. SAFETY WARNING... I believe these are AC converted Inorder to illuminate the wire. If you damage it or leave the end exposed with no rubber cap on it you can get a bit of a shock from it. Anyone with heart problems take extra care not to damage it and seal the end if you need to trim.

A bit heavy but works ok
