cane gripper
i bought this twice. the first time i had no idea how to get this on so i cut it and threw it out. This is the 2nd time. I watched someone's video using soap and water. that's messy. so i decided to use vaseline or something like it. Wow it went on without effort absolutely simple and easy. I held onto the black spongy with a wash cloth and gave it a push and it went right on.

Comfortable High Density Foam Walking Cane Handle material
As advertised and good fit comfortably foam grip, for my 1 inch diameter Wood Cane. It is easy to attach, first measure the length giving sufficient length to fully fit the size of your Cane Handle. To help facilitate the sliding of this foam cover on my Walking Cane, I lightly coated the handle area of Cane. This high density foam material, does not move, once applied. I highly recommend this material for your adding a Comfortable grip to your Walking Cane. Be sure to select the proper 3/4” or 1” size. This High Density Foam Material, provides for a comfortable and secure handle for my Walking Cane, and has improved my level of Walking comfort and safety. I highly recommend this product

Foam Cane Handle Replacement
This cane replacement foam handle is perfect. I was given a metal cane to help walk as I have twisted my knee, but the foam handle on it was quite worn. I ordered this replacement as it is similar to the original on the cane. It is made out of some sort of foam and your cane will not slip out of your hand. I did have my husband slide this on my cane because it takes some strength to put it on. It is very tight fitting, so you might need someone who has extra strength in his hands as it is tight fitting.

It’s exactly what I needed
I have a 1” walnut cane, and the heel of my palm has become very sore from the hard wood. I wasn’t sure if this tubing would fit my my cane, but the cost was so cheap I thought I’d give it a try. I slicked the cane handle with hand sanitizer gel since it would be slippery but evaporate quickly, and began twisting the tubing onto the cane. Getting over the curve was slow work, but the whole thing was done in about 5 minutes. I kept applying a few drops of sanitizer with each round of twisting. This foam handle is fantastic! It’s way denser and thicker than I thought. My hand is protected, but so is my cane. I drop it at times, and over the years I have chipped my cane handles. This protects the wood, reduces the terrible clatter, and provides a grippy surface if I lean my cane against the wall. It stops it from sliding to the floor. I’m so glad I bought this!

What I needed...but difficult to put on.
It's exactly what I needed to replace a handle on my "back up" cane I keep in the car. I don't need a cane often...just for when I have sciatica for some balance. All in all...it was exactly what I needed to replace a handle that started to disintegrate with age. The downside...I found it very difficult to put on...I'm sure each cane is a little different so it might not be an issue for everyone. There was no way this was going on dry...I tried several ways...using soapy water lightly on the cane...that didn't work...so I ended up filling the "tube" partly with soapy water and swishing it around and that seemed to do the trick for me...but it took some muscle! Again...it could be just the differences in canes...but for the elderly or those with loss of strength...there would be no way they could get this on (at least the cane I was trying to put it on). I did a little video to show you the easiest way I found (and ignore the hard water build up under my faucet!...it's soaking in vinegar as I type this...LOL). As you can see...it's kinda tough to wiggle on. As I was doing it...I realized I spent more on the replacement handle and tip...than the other cheap cane I just bought! But...I was on a mission! I will say using soap makes it "twist" after it's on...so you'll need to let it dry well and it should tighten up as it dries. All in all, the grip seems to be good quality...no issues with that. Hope this helps some of you!

Very nice
I bought this for my mom to replace the one she had that was getting worn down. It is a great one and she likes it a lot. It has a very nice cushion to it and very comfortable. The thickness of it is perfect. It's very durable and will last a long time. It's a great value I definitely recommend it. It's worth the price. When trying to put this onto your cane it helps to get the inside of the grip wet with water it helps you to slide it on easily.

Foam will not slide over can handle
Cannot get foam over handle. Googled for instructions which suggested using soap and water or some kind of cream or hair conditioner. None of these worked and since the phone was maybe 1 inch over the Cane handle I had to cut it off couldn’t move it off or move it on to the handle would not recommend. However, I read a review where somebody used Vaseline and the foam slid right on.
