I'm looking for an inner tube for the front tire of my dad's mobility scooter it says 6 inch on the wheel would this 4.00 -5 be the right size?

Hello, I think you need a 260x85 inner tube. Just remember when u take the tire off check inside the walls of tire incase what caused the puncture is still their and put iver talc or chalk on tube when fitting as stops it sticking when inflating............
