Great coffee substitute. Really nice drink

I ordered this, expecting it to taste like bitter floor sweepings and.....it doesn't! It actually tastes nice, and very much like coffee! Oh, I'm sure there are coffee aficionados who turn paler than a skiny latté at that claim but it really actually does taste like coffee. I usually drink it black, but with a creamy milk it would be even more convincing. No sugar. No caffeine. Tastes nice. What a find! Okay, so it is not 'cheap' but at £5 it is no bank-breaker either, is organic, and unlike decaf this truly is caffeine free. Thank you Barley Cup, you have a new happy customer.

Having been diagnosed with a haitus hernia I can no longer drink coffee. This is a really good substitute. IT IS NOT COFFEE although it resembles the very mild bird's coffee that I remember from the 70s. After discovering this product along with little CAROB bars for sale on Amazon I feel less deprived. Now for my daily salad doused in a couple of teaspoons of Bragg's organic apple vinegar which also helps, and a slice of wholemeal bread.

I enjoy this product, which arrived in good time, but it was somewhat spoiled for me by the extreme fragranced smell of the packaging - so strong I had to finish opening it in my garage with gloves on. Unfortunately the smell had also transferred to the jars, which I tried washing with soapy water in my kitchen sink, but the label was still making it stinky, and I couldn’t remove it properly. I ended up having to transfer the contents from both jars I’d got to different jars, which was a bit of a messy nuisance. The chemicals in these fragrances are a terrible health hazard to approx 10% of the chemically sensitive population. I have a less serious chemical sensitivity, but want to enjoy the gentle aroma of this drink without being blasted by stinking chemicals! (That also stick to everything else they touch.)

I buy this product regularly and it is as expected.

You need an awful lot of powder, sweetener and milk to make a tasty drink of coffee (can't imagine it makes a nice cup of black coffee) so it can work out quite expensive but it's a decent enough substitute for those of us who don't drink caffeine-laced drinks (and it's gluten-free too, clearly states so on the jar)

My daughter loves this because she cannot have coffee. The quality and flavor are amazing. The only negative about it is the price. Its expensive. Will likely order again, as my daughter loves it.

Wenn man auf Kaffee verdichten muss ist dies ein idealer uns sogar glutenfreie Ersatz! Die meisten Getreidekaffees sind nämlich glutenhaltig. Sehr angenehm im Geschmack, leicht dosierbar.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden. Habe etwas gesucht ohne Koffein und Gluten. Das ist bei dem Artikel der fall. Zudem schmeckt es sehr sehr lecker.

I wish I could still get it in Canada.
