It works for full manual control. Set the TTL flash to manual trigger (M) mode, then FlashQ Receiver can work with it.

This single receiver for user to expand the flash triggering system. This is not a complete kit, not included the transmitter. For complete kit, please get it on B&H / lightpixlabs.com

Sad to hear it but no, you can't attach the T2. It does not fit. You have to buy a new one.
