As good as the name brand
I've been installing tile for over 30 years. I've used all the various waterproofing products and this waterproofing banding does the job and installs same way as the name brand. I really don't see any difference except in price, this stuff is a lot more affordable. I won't hesitate to use it again nor will I hesitate to order more when needed.

Thickness is good. Very similar to the orange one.
This shower membrane is pretty thick (similar in feel to the brand name orange one, but at a much lower price point.It is waterproof but does need to be installed with thinset.The 5 inch width is also wider than the orange one which makes having the 2 inch overlap much easier to do.Pretty good product at a good price.

This membrane is thick and durable, making it great for waterproofing my bathroom.

Multiple Uses!
This was exceptionally easy to work with, install and cut! I used this to cover a gap that will be between PVC boards outside our garage door trim. It is thick and does not tear easily. I skipped the first portion of the material where the packing tape stuck to it just to ensure it will perform at the highest potential. I do wish it had a sticky backing or something, but I knew it wouldn’t prior to purchasing.

Works great
This waterproofing membrane works really well. I have been using it as seam tape between waterproofed panels and the extra wide roll is perfect for that. This membrane goes on easily and seals really well. It is very thick material that will last a long time.
