Great Instrument
Well it like this ... I play the flute and fancied a low D whistle If you think you can just pick it up a go with no problems ..... thats not true It sounds warm and rich and the tone is even and easily tuned for band work which is my purpose Not an instrument for those with small hands as my wife and daughter cannot cover the holes at all Oh yes and learing a new way to play anything is indeed driving them nuts at home..... but I love it

packaging??
Apologies for delay in reply...I thought I had posted one already.. This whistle turned up in a huge box app.28 ins long, 20 ins wide and 6 ins deep. That would have been ok if whistle was safely placed in the middle of the brown paper packaging used to pack the box out ... it was placed (in it's case) on top of the packaging with just the sealed cardboard box lid for protection, fortunately it survived the journey.. I'm have no experience in Low whistles so I can't compare it to others, all I can say is, it suits me fine as my first Low D. Thankyou.

Wife loves it
Bought this as a present for my wife, she's very happy with it. The fact that it's tuneable means she can adjust it when atmospheric conditions change (i.e. temperature). Great for a travelling musician.

Over priced it is only a plastic pipe and does not play that well
