Not a lot of padding and no handle. The material on this is stretchy and the board slips on the inside really easily. There isn’t a really good way to carry the board without a handle or strap. You can reach over if you are taking some time to think about it, when when loading and unloading the boat, I always seem to loose a grip on the board even when it is in the sleeve.

Get a real cover
I’m not sure about this thing. Like a crazy big sock. Just not sure how it will protect my board. No handle at all. As well I expected it might be a soft bit water resistant cover. Nope, it’s like a knit sweater. We shall give it a try when it warms up but I don’t love it. The pocket for the fins is also very small and won’t fit my large fins.
