Taste nice, perfect for cooking.
The taste is a bit spicy. It is my favourite mustard now for cooking. It is good raw as well, but I think used in recipes is more adequate. Value for money it is realy good, the flavour I am not sure if is horse radish, but for me is what I expected from it.

Maille - C'est Magnifique!
I note that this is meant for 'Salads, Chicken and Fish', but I use it for Roast Beef so I think it's what it was made for, not to mention to add a level to a Shepherd's Pie or a comforting Beef Stew. Not as hot as English, but tangier than French or German and with a smooth texture that spreads perfectly, it sits right in the middle and this brand is always a quality product and on this site, priced better than some of the 'big' supermarkets so for me, it's my go to choice to liven up protein rich dishes always and tastes wonderful for that not too hot kick.
