Noble Handcrafted Verjus 750ml

I used this product to make pear mustarda. It is delicious and a little effervescent. I plan to use it to make sauces in place of using wine. I would enjoy sipping it on its own because it tastes so good.

I don't believe there is a standardized flavor for Verjus, but Noble hits it just right for me. Big fan of the softer Champagne vinegars, Noble is similar- softer than your ACV with a little sweetness (Think Champagne Vinegar with a good splash of Balsamic?) Never had Verjus before, but like comfort food/ "taste memory", this is a Wow!

I do a lot of cooking and discovered Verjus. I used this about six times in a two-week period and it tasted good and did what I expected. After about two weeks something started to grow in the bottle...a white, funky-looking organism, that looked unappetizing. I tried to find out what it was but got no clear answer. I emptied out half the contents to get rid of the flooding organism. In a day it was back. I dumped the rest of the bottle. I don't know if it was harmful but I didn't want to take the chance and neither Amazon nor the manufacturer responded to inquiries with a specific answer, just "thank you for your letter..." canned responses. I can live without verjus and this product.

This is the first Verjus I have tried, but I have to say, it is absolutely fantastic. I've used it in several recipes but my favorite way to enjoy the flavor is to splash a bit in a glass of seltzer.

Absolutely sublime! Worth every penny and my go-to for sliced strawberries, delicate salad greens, even for sipping. Will definitely buy again.

This has mold-looking bacteria floating on top. That doesn’t seem good. I know this product isn’t eligible for return. How about replacement or refund?

The cork did not seal and about 10% of the contents leaked, and the inside had black mold. Too bad....
