Perfect for what I needed them for. Sometimes I need to tether my dog (by his harness) and he figured out if he twisted enough he could unclasp carabiners and double ended snaps!!! These not only lock but twist with him. HA! Foiled, pooch! I love them -- they do the job and are easy to undo if I need to take them off of the harness for any reason. Definitely worth the price. So far they've held up to his chicanery as well. I was concerned with the connections breaking off but they have held strong!

I've had a thicker metal piece unit in the past and it wouldn't close as it bent out of shape. So I was dropping keys out of it all the time. This unit closes and opens easily and quickly. And it's very secure when it's closed. It's very light and can hold quite a bit. I highly recommend it and if I haver have to replace this one in the future, I'll probably purchase the same unit as I can't imagine anything else that would beat it functionally, quality-wise, and price-wise.

Pretty good quality carabiner. I have a hard time opening it with one hand….i can do it but takes a bit, easier with two hands….BUT it keeps my dog from slipping the clips on his leashes so he can stay safe darn houdini

The auto-locking gate is quite good. The nose of the carabiner is smooth so it doesn't catch on my dog's harness, unlike a hook-nosed carabiner. The swivel moves freely, and I can visually see how it's secured using a retaining ring around the post. Overall, good quality and value.

I use it as a replacement clip for my dogs long line while we are out. So far has withstood rain and constant outside use with no problems at all. The spin lock is easy to use and has not unlocked on its own at any point. Definitely tough enough for daily use!

I like how the latch and sleeve twist and snap into place easily. Only concern is strength and durability over time. Time will tell. About one month with strong kelpie dogs pulling and works well.

Works well for my dogs and it is solid. It resisted well the winter here in Canada.
