I’ve really been enjoying the Prequel Skin Multi‑Quench Plumping Hydration Serum. It gives my skin a soft, hydrated feel without any heaviness, and it absorbs quickly so it never interferes with the rest of my routine. One of the best parts is how smoothly my makeup applies afterward—everything blends better and looks more even. Overall, it’s a lightweight, effective serum that adds the perfect boost of hydration.

I discovered this serum through Dr. Sam Ellis’ YouTube channel, and I’m so glad I did. She recommended it as a first “sandwich” layer under tretinoin to reduce irritation — and it’s been a game changer for my routine. The texture is lightweight, gel-like, and feels instantly cool and nourishing on my dry, sensitive skin. Since incorporating it, my tretinoin irritation has dramatically decreased, and my skin stays calm and hydrated. It layers beautifully under other products and absorbs quickly without any stickiness. If you’re looking for an intensive hydration boost — especially if you’re using retinoids — this serum is a must-have. My skin looks plumper, feels more resilient, and I’m happy to have found such an effective, affordable product.

Try it! I have used it for 3 days and it really does plump the skin. It’s winter and my skin is so dry. This had an immediate effect. The lines around my eyes were softened. It’s very thin so I was suspect when I opened it, but it absorbs in and does the trick. Great product and a great price.

I bought this and the Prequel SPF, my first time using this product line. Definitely impressed and in my opinion, a great price for what seems like a quality product. The serum has a lightweight texture,, absorbs quickly, and my skin looks and feels well hydrated right away. More so than when I use a regular hyaluronic acid. There is no pilling or heavy feel so easy to use with other products. I can't say whether it improves skin texture over time or what the benefits are with continued use. I've been using it consistently with the SPF for the last two weeks, so it only been a short while. But when I put it on, my skin noticeably looks more springy and feels better throughout the day. I have mature, dry skin so I do use a moisturizer over this before sun protection. I imagine that if you have oily or normal skin you might be able to use this in place of moisturizer during the day.

Great for most. My friends swear by this. My skin is ridiculously dehydrated. This can’t touch it without other products. I love the consistency of it. If you have even a little elasticity in your skin, this is a great product.. for me with zero elasticity it’s a pretty good product but needs help.

I am blown away by this formula - it goes on silky and absorbs into the skin, giving it a plump, hydrated glow without ANY stickiness or annoying shine. Two pumps after cleansing and toner is just right but you can also go in heavier and use in place of a moisturizer. This truly gives me lasting moisture, which is amazing for a light to mid-weight serum. Wears great with other complexion products and under makeup. The glass bottle is luxe and the pump isn't the least bit messy. Glycerin is all the rage in terms of "hot" ingredients right now - and I have to say after using this, I'm a believer. I've pretty much replaced a classic daily moisturizer with pairing this serum before Strata Lipid Gold (another holy grail) - which works great under my moisturizing Japanese sunscreen (Canmake Mermaid Skin). These steps provide a flawless, juicy base under makeup for my maturing (43-year old) skin. Can't wait to try more products in this line.

Very nice feel and does not get sticky

I absolutely love Prequel, especially the face wash and vitamin c. I am recovering from tretinoin burn though and my face is sensitive in certain areas. I figured I'd get this to help repair my barrier as I need all the moisture restore I can get. For some reason this stings my face, so I can't really use it. For that reason, maybe stay away if you have sensitive skin and/or a damaged barrier. Also, I do notice comments saying it is sticky. That's true which is why I always made my face a little damp to use it. If your face is a little damp, it glides on smoothly and dries down without the stickiness. It also feels like it absorbs better; otherwise it kinda feels like it just sits on the surface. I wouldn't say this is the most hydrating product I've used. There are better hydrating products on the market.

Hidrata y humecta bien, especialmente en estos días fríos y secos. Lo recomiendo.
