Works well, as long as you change regularly
I have tried so many things to include prescription meds, and these patches work the best so far. They stop the swelling, pain, and unsightliness. One thing I noticed that people should take care of is it change the patch every 1-2 hours depending on how much the sore is oozing. Otherwise, they aren’t going to stick or work very well in terms of keeping the spread down. I used this on a cold sore under my nose just before the blister stage. 2 days later and the sore is completely dried up with zero tenderness or scarring. These are way better than using hydrocolloid patches as they come off easily and you don’t risk breaking a scab when you remove them.

Amazing worked within a week!
I was not sure it would work but I was definitely impressed with how well these worked I used them for a week and my cold sore went away I will definitely continue to use these! They work better than the prescribed medication from my doctor and the Abreva cold sore medication, the only complaint I have is when you sweat they peel off a little so you have to replace them more 🤔 but I'll do it for how well it works!

Discret, powerful, pain relieving process.
This is an awesome product. I, unfortunately have been getting cold sores on and off for years and this is legit. If you start the process earlly (taking lysine and ointment to ease pain) then the better. It will not grow bigger and it will end faster. Even though it is a little difficult to take off the packaging, it is a small round clear patch that will fit perfectly on your lip. It is best to use at night when sleeping as if you are eating and drinking it can become easier to remove and not stick properly. Plus as everyone knows that gets them the quicker you "pop" the little bumps the faster it will heal. So if you rip it off like a band aid sort of, it will sting a little but also feel better because they do itch.

They work
I started using these on the third day of my break out. They're soothing and take the itching and pain away. The next day the blister had already started to scab over and by the 5th day started falling off. Now I just have a small reddish spot on my lip. I think they're worth the price and I think they'll work even better if I start using them as soon as I feel the familiar tingling and itching starting. My one complaint is the part that covers your lip starts to curl within an hour+ after applying. The part on your skin adheres very well. So well it's kind of hard to remove. When applying, I made sure my lip was dry but I think bc the blister was moist it made it curl. I recommend not drinking or getting you lips wet while wearing. Last night I applied one and since it's practically healed the dot stayed in place. I've tried all the creams, ointments and home remedies but I like these the best. They ease the discomfort, not messy and doesn't get in your mouth, and work quickly. I gave them 4 stars bc of the curling on the lip.

Difficult application, become loose after a while
These were tricky to get out of the packaging and crumpled at the corners. Toward the end of my work day they were pealing off, not hanging loose just enough to feel a bit annoying and become more visible. Lots for a good price, so you can replace them, just don't really want to be doing that at work. I bought the Mederma ones from CVS before (for double the price of Amazon), and they worked much better. Easy application, and stayed on all day, all evening. Would get those again and not these cheaper ones. Not a paid review, just my experience for others

THESE WORK!!
I am SO impressed. I am not usually one to leave a review, but I feel I have to share as I know how upsetting, painful and frustrating cold sores can be. I have been dealing with them my entire life, and just this year I have gotten eight... I have used everything under the sun (OTC products, Dr prescribed acyclovir cream and valacyclovir pills, tea tree oil, red lights, aquaphor and more that I do not even remember). I decided to change up my normal routine and try these patches. I started using them 24 hours after I got a pretty large cold sore on my top lip. After just one day of using these, it had gone down in size substantially and the pain was almost gone. It also helped me not touch or focus on it as much which is of course so important as they are very contagious. It also blended with my skin color so well. I did use these in conjunction with Abreva Docosanol 10% Cream, and this morning (Day 4), my cold sore is completely GONE. (My skin is still red and sensitive so still continuing with aquaphor to heal, but the sore is gone!!!!!) For reference also, I got a cold sore on 11/9/2025 under my nose and got this one on 11/16/2025. The first one still has a scab on my nose and this most recent one is gone. I have always been willing to spend literally anything to heal this virus, and I am so grateful these patches exist.

Not for me
I'd give this zero stars if I could. I applied this patch as soon as I got a tingle and it must have been what the cold sore wanted because it got giant real fast. Huge blister. I kept wearing the patches and was going through 4 a day. They hardly stuck at all. I thought maybe my face was greasy but I washed my face really good each time then swabbed with 91% rubbing alcohol. It would stuck good for about 3 hours then start flapping in the wind. Don't even dream about eating or drinking with these patches on, just the sight of any food would cause it to start sliding. Don't talk either, as it would just readjust itself until it was no longer sticky. I used up all the patches pretty quick and ran to get my old cold sore shields at a store 40 minutes away. The Mederna cold sore shields work the best for me. Also, my whole mouth was so dried out by these patches that layers of skin came off my lips and my cold sore never got past the ulcer stage with these patches. It literally looked like a chemical burn. Then I started bleeding, and I use patches and shields because I'm on blood thinners and can't do the bleeding thing. The doctor advised against it. The Mederna shields always caused it the bubble, go down the next day, then ulcer for a couple of days, then straight to new skin. Never had a bleeding issue with those, nor the severe drying out. I may have had an allergy to it, not sure. But these, definitely not for me.
