Silvo is a well known brand that was available in India for years. However, it is being imported for some unknown reason. Brasso and Silvo were household names as far as I know. Ideal for silver items . Make sure that you use two different pieces of cloth. In other words, one for application and the other for polishing the article. After you apply the polish, allow the same to dry before giving it a nice rub. I just polished an old silver figurine and the article looks new. A great product from a reputed Company.

It works great. Leaves the silverware shiny. However it’s a lot of work. It takes time. If you expect to just wipe and it would start no shine then no. It takes proper rubbing for a while to actually shine. But it works.

Veteran's around the world involved themselves in the ritual of Remembrance Day, or Armistice Day. This is the one day during the year where everything has to be perfect, including any earnt medals. Silvo polish & cotton buds are my preferred method of bringing my medals to their peak appearance. I admit that I used to use Brasso on some occasions, but Silvo is so much better for the medal surface, due to it's less abrasive method. I always go for this liquid version, rather than wadding because I can dip a cotton bud in to get to small & intricate areas, like edges and overlapping medals. On Court mounted medals, it's impossible to soak in a sonic bath, so this will always be the best alternative. Of course, Silvo is not just for medals, but these are my most treasured items, and deserve the best.
