Great Dash Cam for the Price
The Miden Dash Cam offers a decent set of features for drivers seeking to record their journeys. The 2.5k resolution provides clear video quality. You can see important details like license plates in good lighting conditions. During the daytime footage captures events with reasonable clarity. Nighttime is still surprisingly good, but like many dash cams, clarity can decrease in lowlight. Installation is fairly straightforward. The menu system can take a little bit to get used to, but still not bad. The dash cam includes a Micro SD and has a G-sensor that saves footage when it detects an impact. Which being a DoorDash driver is very important. It also comes with a background camera which I haven't installed yet. Overall you can't beat the price and you get a good solid camera.

**Impressive Performance & Great Value – Miden S7 2.5K Dash Cam Review**I recently purchased the **Miden S7 2.5K Dash Cam (Front and Rear)**, and I’ve been really impressed with its performance and overall value. Here's a breakdown of my experience so far:**Video Quality:**The front camera records in sharp **1600P**, and the rear in **1080P**, which provides clear, detailed footage both during the day and at night. License plates are easy to read, and the **WDR (Wide Dynamic Range)** ensures balanced lighting in challenging conditions like tunnels or oncoming headlights.**Wide Angle Coverage:**With a **176° front** and **160° rear** wide-angle lens, it captures nearly everything around my car. Blind spots are significantly reduced, and I feel more secure knowing I have both front and back coverage.**Display & User Interface:**The **3.2” IPS screen** is bright and easy to read, and navigating the menu is intuitive. Setup took just a few minutes, and everything you need is included – even a **64GB SD card**, which is a huge plus.**Key Features That Stand Out:**- **G-Sensor:** Automatically locks footage when a collision or sudden motion is detected, ensuring crucial videos are saved.- **Loop Recording:** Seamlessly records over old footage, so I never have to worry about running out of storage.- **Night Vision:** Performs well in low light, capturing clear footage in parking lots or dark roads.- **24H Parking Monitor:** Offers peace of mind when my car is parked, with motion detection and impact triggers that record even when the engine is off.**Installation:**Mounting was straightforward, and the camera stays securely in place. Routing the rear camera cable took a bit of effort, but that’s expected with dual setups.**Final Verdict:**If you're looking for a reliable and feature-packed dual dash cam, the **Miden S7** is a solid choice. Great resolution, wide-angle coverage, and useful safety features all in one package. The included SD card is a bonus that makes this dash cam ready to go right out of the box.**Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)**

Works great so far!
After battling the craziness of I95 and I495, I knew I needed to invest in a good reliable dashcam. I settled on Miden 2.5K since it was a great price and good reviews. The set up was simple and I transfer the front dash cam between cars easily. The system comes with both a front and back dash cam. Do know that the back dash cam connect by a long cable to the front dash cam. Since I go between 2 cars, I don't use the rear camera. What I love about the dash cam is that it will automatically start recording when the car is turned off and stops when the car is turned off. It records on a memory card. The camera is movable, so you can tilt it to wherever you want to point to. There are a couple times I noticed a potential accident about to occur next to me and just swiveled the camera into that direction. I have my camera plugged into the power/lighter plug. So far I have not needed to review anything captured on camera, but again with the memory card recording I can't imagine it's difficult to retrieve any recordings. So far, the dash cam has been doing a great job.

Decent camera for the price, but has a few issues.
This is a decent dash cam. The video quality is clear, though definitely not HD. You're not going to be reading license plates in these recordings unless you're right on top of them. The audio recording is also usually fine, but it's not perfect (more on that later). For the price, this camera is not bad at all. It does what it says it does, and it is easy to set up, for the most part. I like that it has options to let me save recordings as one large file, or save them in intervals of 1, 3, or 5 minutes.I do have a couple of issues with this camera, though.First, the angle of the rear camera mount is not adjustable at all. So if it doesn't happen to line up well with where you want to mount it on your vehicle, you'll need to figure out some other way to mount it.Second, using the back up assist feature is only possible if you actually wire the rear camera to your car. This makes sense, but it isn't something just anyone can figure out how to do. I have not made any attempt to do this, so I can't say how easy or difficult it may be.Also, the audio recording is far from perfect. It records clearly... UNLESS you are using the cyclic recording feature to save your recording as several smaller videos. The first video will always sound normal, but every other video after it will sound distorted, high-pitched, and have clicking sounds. I can't find a way to fix this, and I assume it must be some kind of bug. I have seen other reviewers mention a sound issue like this as well. But I guess recording the audio inside your car isn't particularly useful anyway, so I just turned off audio recording altogether.
