Superb quality - vast storage - sturdy construction
This is a very sturdy bag, that has a huge storage capacity, and that looks way better than I expected. The quality is second to none. I carry up to 10 laptops and chargers with me, and previous bags have torn under the strain, but not this - it carries them with ease. The ability to carry it on the back, over the shoulder, or by the handles is a feature I like.

A good choice for carrying the large amounts
It arrives In a small package and unfolds into a very large and durable duffle bag, it has plenty of comfortable options for carrying it including over the shoulder strap, backpack style straps or a standard carry handle very pleased with my purchase

This bag looks the part, durability questionable.
Review of BACKFERRY Large Tactical Duffel Bag Deployment Bag. Well this certainly large, at 85ltr capacity will consume a large amount of items or clothing, on delivery this in a simple cardboard box, my first reaction was surprise at the weight, it is heavy at just over three kilo’s so not lightweight to start. However once unpacked one can see this a well made robust bag using heavyweight materials with three different methods of transport, shoulder strap, short handles or backpacking straps which would certainly be required if packed to it’s maximum. This not dissimilar to hockey bags or other sports bags except for the multitude of pockets inside and out, the solid removable base is rigid and can be folded in two to store, the 1000D polyester fabric feels and gives the appearance of a strong bag. The two advantages this bag does offer is the adjustable end straps to tighten the bag around the contents if not fully loaded plus the end handles giving easy lift if the bag placed in an elevated position. This is a nice large holdall with plenty of pockets and methods of carrying, we are told this water resistant however to what degree is unknown, the outer base looks waterproof the rest of the bag is maybe shower resistant material. My one concern is that whilst the handle quick release buckles are made of metal the four “D” rings sown to the bag for strap attachment are made of plastic, these need to take a lot of strain, not sure how long those will last. A good replica item but not a deployment bag I would have used or relied on, tactical or otherwise.

Super big and practical
I got this bag for my men as my husband and son are playing airsoft and have a lot of gear to take with them. Equally, it can be used as a sports bag, travel bag and a bag to hide a body :) as it will definitely fit. With a capacity of 85 liters, the bag can easily hold a significant amount of gear, making it suitable for long trips or extended outdoor adventures. Also, the bag can be carried as a duffel bag, backpack, or shoulder bag, providing flexibility and convenience depending on your needs. The bag is made of high-quality, waterproof 1000D polyester fabric, ensuring durability and resistance to wear and tear, it features a main compartment with multiple internal and external pockets, providing ample organization for your gear and compression straps allow you to adjust the size of the bag to fit your needs, ensuring efficient packing and transport.

A good quality mid-range bag
I have several large utility bags manufactured by leading brands. I was slightly disappointed this Backferry bag wasn't a little sturdier and more robust. Its lightweight structure is handy given the size of the bag and how heavy it could become when fully loaded, however, the straps, handles and fabric seem potentially too flimsy to support that weight. That said, at the price point, this bag is better than many others and represents good value. The bag is larger than average and with no internal structuring, is useful for carrying almost anything. There is little padding though, and the bag's hard base is thin and flimsy. The strap and handles don’t have much padding, which could become an issue when the bag is fully loaded. I like its tough polyester finish, generous capacity, and versatile pockets and compartments.

Great product. Strong stitching and I love the bottom of. Plenty of room. You can carry or use it like a back if to heavy. A lot more room than the photos indicate.

Passt alles rein was man hat. Und wenn man stopft noch einiges mehr. Ob als Rucksack damit man von der Frau das Gepäck nich tragen kann oder als klassische Reisetasche. Mir gefällt sie.

The bag's various dimensions are listed at the end of the review. Tempted to give 5 stars out of the box—4 for now until I know how well it holds up. Slightly tempted to take off another star for potential backpack strap issue (see below). I need a bag for a fairly heavy tall cylindrical drum and a few small hand percussion instruments. I decided on this one after viewing a lot of bags here. What sold me: length, material, exterior pockets, and several carry methods. ¶ FIRST IMPRESSIONS Considering the bag's features, the price strikes me as excellent. The fabric appears very tough. Stitching seems good but there are occasional signs of sloppiness. See photo. The waterproof underside is an excellent feature. Some stitching around the waterproofing material looks a bit flimsy—but that's just a first impression. There were lots of wrinkles after it was unfolded for the first time. These relax over time. ¶ LENGTH FOR INTENDED PURPOSE? I lucked out—the instrument only just fits. At each end the bag has narrow cinch straps (with fastex-style clips) used to pull in the ends a bit. The clips can be undone to let the bag expand all the way. That made the difference. Whew. ¶ INTERIOR PADDING There isn't any, except for the removable inserts (see below). ¶ WEATHERPROOFING The fabric appears water-resistant, not waterproof. But—great feature—the underside is waterproof. That material spans the length and comes up the sides a bit (see photo). It's the side that faces outward when you carry the bag backpack-style. The waterproof material also helps keep the bag from sliding around too easily when it's lying flat. ¶ INTERIOR PANELS Another great feature, enabling the bag to stay extended when it's lying flat. The panels are thin but stiff and feel slightly padded. They sit directly over the part of the bag containing the outside waterproofing. There are two removable panels, joined end to end with strong hook-and-loop strips to make a single panel. ¶ ZIPPERS The two used for the main closure look ok. The ones used for the side pockets seem a bit less sturdy. All have "pulls" made with what looks like 3/16″ paracord. ¶ POCKETS This bag has very handy pockets, unlike a regular duffel bag. INTERIOR POCKETS: At each end on the inside there's a 9" deep pocket spanning almost the bag's full width. These pockets don't have pull-over flaps or zippers, but they can be partly secured at top/center with a short hook-and-loop strip. EXTERIOR POCKETS (for dimensions see below): For my money this is where the bag really shines. Along one side there's a long dual-zipper pocket. Inside it there's another (single zipper) mesh pocket, roughly 7″W by 5″H. On the opposite side, the bag has two single-zipper pockets, each about half the length of the bag. Each has a large felt patch that could be used with velcro. One of the felt patches contains 30 tight loops that could accommodate a ¾″ or 1″ strap. (Some kind of attachment system?) The photo of the bag lying flat shows the two felt patches. ¶ STRAPS This manufacturer gets first prize for providing _four_ carrying methods. TWO-PERSON CARRY: A robust hand strap at each end of the bag. CENTRAL HAND STRAP for horizontal carry: Typical design—two straps on either side of the central opening can be joined within a small sleeve (hook-and-loop closure) to make a single hand strap. When closed, the sleeve becomes the handle. Feels very sturdy. OVER THE SHOULDER/sling strap: the sling strap attaches to metal lugs that are also used to attach the backpack straps. When you carry it this way, the bag's main closure faces upward. The strap's shoulder pad looks pretty tough but is only 9″ long and isn't well padded. I'll use a third-party pad that's longer and more comfortable. BACKPACK: pretty typical setup with 16″ long shoulder pads having the same minimal bulk as the over-shoulder strap. The sternum strap is a nice touch. This probably isn't an issue if you aren't carrying anything too heavy—but I will be: I'm concerned about backpack carry with the bag as shipped. They should have used the same metal clips that are used for the sling strap. The bag's weight during backpack carry will be on not very tough-looking plastic buckles that pull tight against adjacent metal rings (see photo). If the plastic parts become deformed or cracked I worry that they could pull out. I'll probably replace these straps with a third-party product having strong metal clips. (Thus my temptation to remove another star.) ¶ HOW IT FEELS WHEN USED AS A BACKPACK No problems there except for the minimal padding in the shoulder pads. ¶ ADVERTISED DIMENSIONS ARE ACCURATE? Yes. I wouldn't mind if the bag were a couple of inches longer, but I'm not complaining. It works for the intended purpose. Straight out of the box and completely folded up: 14½-15″square. Length when lying flat and empty: 31″. Width when lying flat and empty: somewhere around 13″. At the narrowest part, at the very ends: about 12″. Height: about 14″. How far can you open it across the width? At the very widest (in the center) when the main flap is open and pulled fully outward: about 21–22″. Length of the main opening itself with the bag lying flat and the cinch straps unclipped: 29″. Full-length side pocket with double zipper: about 21½″ long and 8″ high. It can be pulled outward about 6″ at the center/top. Very roomy. It will be perfect for carrying various small and percussion instruments. Each of the smaller pockets on the opposite side: about 12″ wide by 8″ high. Can be pulled outward about 6″ at the center/top. Also very roomy. Overall: thumbs up.
