Light Blue Dot Retro Splat Mat

The mat is a great size and easy to clean. It does a great job protecting the carpet from wet and dry spills. It is a little thinner than I expected, but that has actually been nice for easy positioning. It does stick to itself a little bit so it's hard to keep it flat if a corner gets folded over, but it's not too difficult to straighten out.

I live with two small parrots (Sun Conure an Quaker Parrot) who share a cage and a mess. I was looking for a splat mat to place under my parrots' cage to catch any droppings that went outside of the cage.I absolutely love it. I know that the mat was intended for use under a high chair, but I think it can be used for people who keep birds. I put the mat under their cage and it looks great, works great and provides great floor coverage. Plus, it is super easy to wipe clean.

I thought that the mat would be thicker and more heavy duty. The size and shape are good and it looks good with our hardwood floors, but it is thin. I would think for $25 the mat should be less like a vinyl shower curtain and more like a rug.
