Great cd player but headphones aren’t that great

This is not the cheapest portable CD player on the market, but for what you get and overall excellent sound quality, I find the midrange price justified. First, no more batteries: the supplied USB cable plugs into a computer or other USB port, and charges the player quickly. I get about 4 hours of play time at a fairly high volume level per full charge. But I typically leave the player plugged in when I use it to avoid any time issues. Second, for me sound quality is essential. I have gone through many players in the past decade, and I can honestly say that the mainland Chinese portable CD players have come a long way, this one being much better than my previous Jensen, Philips, Coby, etc., brands. Only my Panasonic with the built in booster sounded better than this one under discussion. I find the player to be reliable, skip-free, and easy to use. The different equalizer settings, linked to a given genre of music, from classical to jazz to rock, work well. What I like most is the “natural” aura of the music in the listening experience. No heavy-handed noise reduction or loudness boosts on the other end of the spectrum. I am a vinyl lover and listen to CDs for convenience, especially when I am at work or lying in bed for a sleep aid. I definitely recommend this portable CD player, even if my ears are attuned to the superior dynamics & depth of vinyl listening.

This is literally the best CD player that I've tried in years. Nice looking, easy to handle & hold with a nice modern design, convenient shape. Even the display is aesthetically pleasing-lights up sreen so you can see tracks, etc...and the buttons light up with blue light. I tried several different models of CD players (portable) from here on Amazon and they were cheap knock-offs of real brands, made in China, and broke down in 6-12 months (IF even that long). Then I found this little gem. I have been using it hardcore for hours a day, nearly every day, and it has not even shown the slightest sign of wear or anything else. It has been 2 years so far of almost daily use. The features are excellent-very handy is the fact that the buttons & display all light up whenever you touch a button or raise/decrease volume, etc...I use these when I wake up sometimes & in the dark it really helps. It comes with a charging cable (re-chargable battery) which seems to rapidly charge it. USB-C cable. So you will need to provide the adapter-head to plug into a wall outlet or surge suppressor but they are available here for ~$9.99. The volume goes up to 20 but depending on what style music you listen to, it'll blow your ears off! This is a positive thing. Every single other player I tried before this never had enough volume power, it'd be barely good enough on the max. (And I have no hearing problems, the players just were bad) I like the fact that this has extra steps in volume that I don't always have to use. The player also has programmable modes, sound modes (Rock, Bass, Classic, etc...) and basic modes like repeat all, repeat 1, etc.... Overall, this is an awesome & high quality little player for a great price. I paid ~$40 on sale, regular price is approximately $50-$55. I had a Searick/German player for many years that broke, I paid $60 for it and although it was awesome, this new one is actually better. Highly, HIGHLY recommended player!
