I bought this for the original purpose and haven't ever used it for that purpose yet. However, I'm going to admit here to another use I found for it ... A travel washcloth. WHAT? Seriously. It dries fast. It has a loop on the back that fits perfectly on my hand. I was craving a shower buff to make my travel sized shower gel last longer and I decided to give it a try. Worked like an absolute gem!!!! Got finished. Wrung it out and set it out to dry overnight. It was dry as a bone the next morning and ready to pack up. (And even if it wasn't, the handy snap loop lets you attach it someplace exterior so it can dry while you walk. I know it isn't the original intent to use it like this but I'm kind of digging it. Great size, fits over your hand so you can scrub yourself off. Suds up really well . Dries fast. So maybe I'll use it for a pea cloth someday, but all the reasons that make it food for that also make it an excellent travel shower buff/ washcloth. Love it.

This is a great product, very absorbant, I have just used it once and washed it. But I understand I can leave it in the sunlight to steralize and dry the cloth, sunlight is a great steriliser. This cloth will be a great addition to any campers kit.

This is not something people talk about much, but I really love these pee cloths! I boondock (dispersed camping) often, so there are no facilities. In some areas, it's very rocky, so digging a proper (and required) hole to bury toilet paper is very difficult and time consuming. (Please people - don't leave toilet paper laying around wild areas! It's so gross, and takes a surprising amount of time to decompose!) So, these pee cloths are a real time saver! To get a little graphic, I don't "wipe", I press and hold to absorb any moisture left over after peeing. Then I just snap the cloth closed, and continue on my way. I can snap it onto my backpack, or lay it on the dashboard of my truck. I travel alone, so there's no one to "gross out". It dries surprisingly fast. I never use the pee cloth for #2. I use toilet paper and either dig a hole to bury it, or use my emergency toilet bucket. The pee cloths don't start to smell until they have been used a lot over multiple days. (I drink LOTS of water, so I use these a lot.) On day 5 of my last trip, I washed them with dish soap and cold water and hung them out to dry overnight. There was still a slight smell in the morning. I think next time I'll bring a bit of white vinegar and use warm or hot water. I washed them again in the washer at home. Then the smell was completely gone. I keep one of these, freshly washed, in my purse when I'm not camping, just in case there's no toilet paper when I'm away from home.

We bought these for a backpacking trip and they were amazing! Our family loves hiking, so I brought this little cloth on a day hike afterward and it was so much better than just drip drying! Will be bringing this on all future hikes, whether overnight or not. Good quality too.
