The price was right. I have not used it yet. I will update when I finally ue it. I keep getting bothered to review it.

It’s the best decision I ever made, after trying a cheaper dc to dc charger which makes me doubt something wrong with my lifpo4 lithium battery or my alternator but since I installed Renogy dual input everything started working properly. No complicated dip switches, fast charging, no noise fixed behind my driving seat. Cannot wait until I install my solar panels and connected to the device.

I have not used it yet, it will probably be another month before I use it so look for an update in like feb to april. The device looks solid it is an aluminum case. The description says BT-2 sold separately but there is no where to connect the BT-2 device. The wiring appears solid, the 8AWG wire is EXTREAMLY fine stranded I would say at least 200 strand. It states 200C but even if you rate it at 105C 8 AWG is good for 76 A, well above the 40A rating. I hope it lasts as the outside and accessible wiring looks very good. So far only CON is the description being misleading causing me to buy a BT-2 for no reason.

This charger worked like it is stated and charged my two 100ah lithium batteries that kept a charge for 6 days while camping. However the unit got extremely hot that you can barely touch it. Now I will not use it and have to trash it so I don't burn up my jeep. Have to find one that doesn't get hot.

An amazeing product. It is charging my 100Ah lifepo4 battery with full 40A as it is writen. Be sure to folow all the instalation protocol because it is wery powerful unit and if you dont use right gauge wires you can burn your van. Stay safe. It is very very good charger. Great value for money.
