Love the scan tool so far I have scanned 3 cars at work that our snap-on scan tool couldn’t read. Yes wham you first get it you have a bunch of updates to complete and will take awhile but you will get that with any scan tool. Topdon does really good with putting out new updates and bug fixes quite regularly as well

I've been on the hunt for a scan tool for awhile that is easy to use, has special functions, and is bidirectional. This one has it all and under a thousand. Your not locked into one make of vehicle like some smart phone versions. It allows you to scan all modules for trouble codes command certain functions for testing, and perform module resets or procedures for easy repair or service.

At first I was having difficulty getting the vci to connect but then I figured it out and it has been very helpful when needed to diagnose problems on your car. The quality is absolutely fantastic very well built. All the functions and features that all the known brands scanners can do like snap-on, this scanner can do as well for quarter of the price which is wonderful and worth the money. Its super easy to read and the best feature I honestly like about this scanner is that you search up how to fix an issue start from the tablet probably one of the most helpful features on the scanner

Excellent to have if you do your own fixing

Ill be sending this back at 350 bucks plus the main unit will not stay connected to Bluetooth ALDL Pluging / adapter for more then 2 minutes at best, I even left the hand unit in the foot well of the vhecial I was working on. I was trying to use the live data feed to chase down a intermittent issues and the logging / data graphing lags worse the dial up connection. I saw the USB A port and thought i would plug it Elm32 OBD2 link cable into the unit and then at least it would be usable, no the software doe not allow for that. This is hyped up E-waste and TopDon just know how to hype up marketing. If you want to do any real work dont buy this unit it just a over hyped scan code reader on a good day....I can not recomed this product even for a novice DIYer.

This is very good product gives you more options than you probably need for an everyday user but the wireless dangle is the best thing ever. Gives you a reminder when you end session to remove dangle so you don't forget

A very good cable free on board diagnostic machine. This obd also has wifi built it in and the obd socket is bluetooth. So everything is competely wireless. When switching the computer on the first time you will need the serial number and passcode to proceed. Which is in a card in the box. Once this is done you connect to your wifi and and the you can update all the software and any updates it has for vehicle models. This comes with free up dates for life! I have an older handheld obd. Which doesnt have wifi and I have to plug into a pc and update from there which is a hassle and time consuming. So this machine is brilliant for easy up dates. Everthing is touch screen on the device. Is charges via usb c, there is a plug provided with different country plug pins. There is a good tough case provided to store the machine. The obd socket is wireless with bluetooth. It charges when connected to the machine and on charge. Once you find your odb port in your car. You plug in and the machine will automatically find your car. It bleeps to remind you to remove the obd socket when you finish. My friends Vauxhall Insigna 17 plate had an Engine Management light come on. This found the code right away and said it was a clutch pedal fault which you can see pictured. This deleted the code and has not come on since. So this machine will pay for its self rather than going to a garage. Good value obd. With free updates for life. Very simple to use. All wirefree and updates though wife. Its one of the best obd's ive used for the price. Would highly recommend
