This soil meter is relatively simple and the light-measuring function is kinda silly, but maybe useful for some. The pH meter seems to be roughly accurate against pH test strips and soil kits as does the soil moisture meter. The instructions could use a little more QA/QC in terms of engrish text but oh well.. the thing works well enough.For about ~$25 I think this is probably worth it.. if you had to spend too much more you might want to get a nicer meter.

Well this just confirmed that my soil is the reason why my bush isn't healthy. It's next to 2 other bushes that are green and lively, but this one is half-brown and dry. I tried extra watering and nothing helped. I just received this a few hours ago and it's really easy to just pop in batteries and stick it in the ground. I tested several spots in my yard and it's quite accurate. Really helpful!

I like having 4imp data elements in 1 device. seems to work well and response from seller very good. Only reason i did not give a 5 is because i just received and dont know its consistency or durability yet.

Proper soil balance is one of the most important keys to gardening and this product takes the guesswork out of it. Seems to work quite well, is easy to use, and is good value for the money.
