Works well no effort watering done easy
Using the drip at the top for the tea and using the pure water for underneath so it’s getting pure water from the bottom. The tea from the top with the auto these bottoms are nice cause now you know and not missing out on any water that the plants going to need They can drink what it wants when it wants it And have no root rot I installed air stones in the bottoms of both of mine so the water gets air that sits in the bottom I don’t think you want stagnant water down there. I think bubbling it up aerating it makes it much better. I didn’t think the little strings would do any good but they’ve been in there for a few days. I picked it up to put the air stones in and noticed the water level is down so it is actually water is going into the plant from those strings and I did not cut off the ends cause all they are shoelaces. I’m thinking about putting up some thicker ones drill some holes with a drill and order some more wick 1/4. Inch wick ,1 pod used more water than the other and the visual float level worked well , I am impressed by how much water was missing in just a few days and I flooded the plant separate when I filled the pods ,so 1plant drinks more than the other ok time to train them—— good and very clean system , love the idea that they sell a pump to recycle the liquid back up ,I already had a self watering drip system and a air pump,so far I think it works well keeping plants happy and smiling green ,not sure if I can add nutrients to the reservoir ? Might clog wicking action just using water for now to be safe it’s a big relief yes a big big relief knowing that it’s getting the water it needs I am using living soil coco chor and perlite and a tea made from home grown organic fertilizer feed from the top , I try to match the drip with the evaporation of dry top , when top goes dry I increase water time on if too wet decrease, now it’s set to 2drips per plant 2min every 6 hours ,,WITH THESE PODS YOU CAN JUST FILL AND LET IT GO FOR A WEEK OR MORE I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT,made well YOU GET A 4 pack I only wanted 1 but glad I got a 4 pack you will be too yes 5 stars love these and I must say every thing that this company makes has been hands down made well and priced right this is A 6 star company great products—update after 3 months usage plants doing great sucking 1/2 gallon water a day each plant , roots grew on to wicks and grew into holes past wick just started to add calcium and magnesium to water when low going into flower now , flowers coming out good so far , takes up room in tent but nice product -after months of use and a few grows yes you can add nutrients to base and you can add strings but it’s not needed wets the felt bags nice plants love this but you must fill a lot trying to figure out how to make it work auto fill so , 4 pods drink 5 gallons water in 3 to 4 days then fill wait 4 days fill -good thing I can change nutrients and ph every 3 to 4 days not top watering this time plants better looking now -top watering was to much these water feeders work just fine you got to trust the system almost a year now and it works great with coco and perl light peet mose big difference from fox farm in bags and coco perl in bags for absorbing water -soil wicks slowly coco wicks water faster

I highly recommend these for bigger plants. Keeps plants watered for weeks.
Plants that I put in 3 gallon fabric pots and then put on these were almost double in size compared to the fabric pots on the ground. These are awesome. Plant roots stretch downward until they hit the bottom where the they drink. It has been 2 weeks and I haven't had to water the top soil keeping it dry to help keep nasty insects away. I like that I never need to water the top soil, just fill these when they empty. After about 2 weeks, I refill the plastic basins which is done via an easy access slot on the Top. The strings that dip into the water work very well. There are holes in the top plastic part to adjust the strings for different pot sizes. I will definitely be re-using these again and again. The squares fit nicely in any tent. My plants that use these typically grow bigger than the ones that don't use these.

Magic Pots!
Definitely The best self wicking pots! I have 12 now. I heard to use two inches of perlite in the bottom of the grow bag to help the wicking. I use coco & perlite for the medium and there’s something very special about Autoflowers and these pots! The top of the medium looks dry (which is great for keeping nats down) And under the surface is damp. They know how much they need to drink better than me clearly! I saw my plants double in size from one run without these pots to the last run with the pots. I Love that they are square too. There’s no wasted space in the tents & the strings come in the top of the pot already and they don’t move around easy like the other brands. 5 FULL STARS!

High quality awaits
I just received my 4 pack. Wow beautifully designed. 👍 Kit came pre strung fantastic! These containers are bigger than most other companies and hold just over a Gallon of water. The fill spout area is on the same side as the water gauge good job! All the materials are of a high grade plastic and I’m sure with regular maintenance will last for years.😀 Over all from purchase to the next day delivery everything was great. Vivosun has my complete confidence in my next purchases. I have also purchased two grow tent from Vivosun both were perfect and more importantly assembled with ease. Thank you for your design, your price, and prompt delivery.😀😀😀😀😀😀😀

Watering made easy!
These are incredible! We used them for our last grow and these kept the plants perfectly watered. No worry about pouring water from the top and onto the leaves. We will be buying 4 more. So affordable and they work great!

Works Great
Works Great I just wish the wicks were longer. Still a great value for what they are and I love the extra capacity compared to competitor's. Just be careful because this cannot be used unless your plant has a deep enough root system to grab the water.

Good for travelers
Good system if you are going away on a short trip. Keeps plants watered, easy setup, and also a nice base in general for runoff.

Skeptical at first
I was skeptical about these, but they actually work really well. Especially in early flowering when the plants are drinking a lot. You have to wait until the plants are big enough, as soon as you see tiny roots popping through the bottom of the fabric pots, you're good. After about 3 days of being on the base, your plants will explode. In 5 gallon pots I water with 1.7 liters at a time. I would usually water every 3 days, or every other day. With these bases, I ad the 1.7 liters into the base every single day, and sometimes I have to ad 2 bc they will get a little dry. The only downfall is the extra height they ad.
