Christmas lights when you don't have an electrical outlet
I loved these lights!! I do not have access to electricity in this part of my backyard so could never put up Christmas lights. I tried a few different battery operated brands but these looked the best. They are so pretty I think I will keep them up past the holidays. Other great feature, you can use one remote for all the different strands you put up around your yard.

I bought a second time
I greatly enjoyed these lights and the fact that they are battery-operated. It is nice to not be worrying about electricity use with these lights. I had to purchase a second set of them at my own fault for leaving the batteries in during a move, where my batteries corroded during the couple months that the move occurred.

This made my tent magical
Upsides:-These are super cute and made my tent way more cozy at night.-It's bright enough to see most things in my tent and eliminates harsh shadows, but not bright enough to read a book without straining your eyes.-The timer feature was useful.-For the price these are a no brainer.A few minor downsides:-The remote's range is more limited than I expected. You have to be close (maybe within 8 feet) and it doesn't work through the tent walls. Maybe the weak receiver saves on battery life though.-Most of the lighting modes suck. The light changes are harsh and oddly have inconsistent timing with some of them, randomly speeding up turning on and off at times. They're all basically disorienting aside from the standard "Steady On" lighting mode. In particular, I wish the twinkling present worked better.-If you can't find the remote, you have to tap a button on the receiver to cycle through all the lighting modes, and they made the standard steady on mode the last option...basically you have to press the button 8 times just to turn the light on. This should be the first mode.

Love
I used these in my easy up while on a camping trip and they were perfect. I accidentally left them on all night for 2 nights and the batteries were still going strong.

Magical!
I finally got this long string of mini globe lights installed in my daughter’s room with the help of some command hooks, and she absolutely loves it. She turns it on each night when she’s ready to climb into bed and await her goodnights from mom and dad, and the warm glow makes her room feel cozy and magical. I’m impressed with how many light settings there are, though she likes the steady version the best. Unfortunately I’ve misplaced the remote, which means that she has to press the button on the battery pack 8 times to get it there, but she doesn’t seem to mind. She’ll be very happy when it turns up though! We’re using rechargeable batteries and they’re still going strong. This is a sturdy and long string of lights at a reasonable price that I’d definitely buy again.

Battery Powered String Lights
I have a lamppost outside my house that I want to tastefully decorate for the holidays. I plan to wrap a cedar garland around the pole but wanted a few warm white lights interspersed within the garland so one can see it better at night. Unfortunately the former owner of my house must have removed the electrical outlet that was once on the side of the post, so I had to get lights operated by battery and ordered these.I like the round shape of the bulbs, for my use they'll give the impression of tiny tree ornaments. They are a nice warm white color, so not overly bright. I wanted something with a remote control because I want to hide the battery case within the greenery. The set takes 3 AA batteries, has 8 lighting modes, and has a dimmer. All settings can be changed either on the battery case or the remote. The remote has a coin battery inside with a plastic piece you pull out before you can use it. Because I have these exact remotes for other light sets, I suggest that when you store these off-season, you should remove the coin batteries (throw the remotes and coin batteries into in a baggy and keep with the lights so you don't lose them). As with other lights I have with this exact same selection of lighting modes, I really don't care for any of the modes available. I just like something subtle and these modes are all unappealing for me except for steady on (which is a bit bland). Ugh, it takes me less time to install the lights than to settle on a lighting mode. Regardless, I did test these lights and they all work fine and are the warm white I expected. I controlled the lights using both the battery case and the remote and all buttons/settings worked on both. For 33 lights, I believe the price point is fair.

Super cute!
I needed some outside lights for my canopy that I use as a little patio. All you need are batteries! Very pleased with how easy they were to set up and the luminosity of the bulbs works perfectly

Just okay. Battery life is short.
I use rechargable batteries for these since they die fairly quickly after use for about 24-36 hours. Luckily, I have my battery box set up so that it's easy to access and swap out but I imagine that if you didn't account for that when putting these up, these would be a nightmare to constantly be attending to every week or so, especially if outdoors. They look nice when they're up and at full battery, but you have to finesse these to maintain them. Kind of a bummer but at least they look good if you're willing to keep it up!
