Q: It says this is not recomended for low voltage machines. What does that mean? Yes I am a beginner at welding.

The rod will require 65-100 amps to run properly. Some 115Vac machines will not generate enough amperage on the top end (90 amps+)

Q: Can i use these on a a/c 225 lincoln buzz box?

Q: Do these need to be stored in a certain way due to moisture? Can they be shelved for months then used?

Yes, 7018 rods will absorbed moisture over time. Store them in a sealed container. Once opened, a rod storage oven can be used to prevent or remove moisture.
