Nice product - Not so great instructions - May want to go with a full Stage 1 upgrade if committing to new exhaust.
HD NIGHT ROD SPECIAL 2014: SOUNDS SO MUCH BETTER!!! SERIOUSLY!!! Put these on over the weekend. Sticker on box says you need the FP3 (Fuel Pak). Thought this was a sales gimmick but honestly did get some popping when rolling of the throttle at higher speeds. Gonna get the Cobra and new air filter to make a Stage 1 upgrade. Pops weren't really that bad though if fuel management isn't in your budget...just don't really know how damaging it could be....that's from reading other stuff.INSTALLATION: followed the instructions and got to the point where slip-ons are slipped on and mounted to the bracket. unless you have tiny hands...good luck! Sat there for a minute, thought about it and decided to remove the bracket from the bike; install the bracket directly to the pipes (BEING CAREFUL NOT TO SCRATCH THE FINISH) and then install the bracket (with pipes) back on to the bike. I would put the bracket on the bike first (like I did) and tighten everything up. Give it a few minutes and remove it. This will get everything lined up for when you put it back on. Also, instructions say to fully remove backseat rider peg...didn't see a need for that either...just remove the lower bolt that connects to the stock exhaust. Lastly...the weight difference is unbelievable. When I pulled the stock mufflers, it felt like two lead pipes. The V&H mufflers don't weigh near as much.
