Great simple tool!
My daughter wasn't able to bring her school AAC home for summer. To defend against regression, this tool is amazing. She's already started using it functionally & I am THRILLED! A great buy!

Great start for an AAC device
So excited for my toddler to understand how to use this. We are currently implementing with the help of OT and speech therapy.

Intro to communication
We used this for our autistic daughter before she got her aac device. It was nice to have to introduce a communication device to her.

It’s ok
I like this but I think it could have maybe had an option to record over the original pictures that way the nonverbal child or adult would be able to still be familiar with the family member voice that they always hear or recognize.

Helpful for those that struggle with standard AAC devices
These have been wonderful for my level 2 ASD non-verbal 6 year old son. He has a standard AAC device which is an iPad with LAMP, but was struggling with the complexity of using it (going through multiple screens just to say yes, no etc). These devices are scaled down to the essentials with fun colorful icons that he enjoys using. His ABA therapist loved it so much that she bought some for the facility to use! I plan on buying more since they have other devices with the same layout but different phrases/buttons.

Disappointed
Very disappointed. Voice is a British accent which is very confusing for an autistic child who is already having problems understanding. Returned it today.update: Customer service is great as they keep reaching out to me to offer a refund. (Amazon already refunded my money when I returned the item) But I'm still disappointed with the product which is why I returned. Would love to see an American English version sometime soon. Description did not state this was manufactured by an English company and would contain a British accent.
