Excellent cards.
Easy to read , understand and learn from. The basics are the 1st pack to start from and I have found it quite easy to learn fairly quickly when I was a bit dubious as to whether I would be able to pick it sufficiently to become any good at it, but o am greatly encouraged by the ease of the cards giving you the ability to pick up words and phrasing of those words in baby steps so that you don't feel discouraged by jumping straight in at the deep end ..these are excellent in my opinion and sturdy, well made and well printed. A great choice for absolute beginners.

Good learning tool-with provisos.
These are really useful for memorising signs. Nice quality, large cards, a decent array of signs. (Be aware that as there are dialects in BSL, it might include some signs that your teacher will do differently though). That said, for me they’ve been by far the best way of learning a lot of signs fast as I’m not the best kinetic learner, and I’d really recommend them. My only quibbles are: 1) the answers are on both sides of the cards! I had to go through with a permanent marker and cover all the ones on the front so I could test my knowledge. (Though top tip, leave the scribbled-on ones to dry before stacking them or picking them up unless you want a permanent-markered-thumbprint moustache. Ask me how I know this….) 2) I love that there are diverse characters shown but there’s one whose skin is so dark that it makes it difficult to see what the signs are. Not a major irritant, as you can see close up but it does complicate things when someone else is going through them with you as important detail is lost at a distance. The drawings could do with a little work to make the detail stand out better. Anyhow. If you need to practice with someone who doesn’t know sign, these are great, so while they’re not exactly cheap, I’d say they’re worth it, especially if you’re sharing them with your group.
